    Good Sound, Bad Fit

i bought these for the reviews on how well they sounded. I did like how they sounded..very good sound. Although I did not like the fit at all. I tried the various combos of different size FINS and ear pieces, every time they would pop out late into a hard workout ...a lil sweat and out they would go...i could never find a comfortable solid fit. and after 3 workouts my ears started to get sore from this. I eventually traded them in for the Beats Powerbeats 3 ...which I absolutely would advise anyone to get for workout bluetooth headphones ...

I mostly have enjoyed tinkering in the app and they are waterproof which is crucial to me keeping a pair long term I still have not tuned them to perfection but one thing at a time overall I am happy with the new purchase!

I loved these when I first got them on September 9. That was until they stopped working and charging today (December 23). I would have thought it was just a defective pair, but then I went online to see if I could find a fix. The top matches are for people having the same problem that I am having, and the only fix seems to be having them replaced (if that happens at all). This is just a poor quality product. I am really surprised since my prior Jaybirds lasted years (still have them) and really frustrated that I am having to fork out another $100+ for headphones less then four months after I bought these.

    BUYER BEWARE!

I purchased my JayBirds X3 due to a recommendation of a Best Buy sales associate, a little over a month and a half ago (8/4). To be honest, I was pretty excited because the sales pitch was how they were made to sweat and workout in. I'm a runner and go to the gym frequently, and I have never done well with earbud types of headphones. JayBird sounds perfect. After almost a month, the product has stopped charging. I immediately went to Best Buy where they told me that I needed to go through the factory warranty for support. While frustrated, I called JayBird customer service. Rep was nice but administered a quite lengthy process to honor the warranty. I was headed out of town, so I couldn't submit the info until the following week (9/11). Emailed the information along with proof of purchase, only to followup the next day (9/12) to inquire if they received my info, This time I spoke with a gentleman -- he verified they received my info, and then sent me a another email indicating that I would receive an e-shipping label within 24-48 hours. As of today (9/15, 10:18pm), still no shipping label. I called earlier today to inquire the status. Female rep said that the 48 hours aren't quite yet up, and she couldn't help me. Asked for me to call back on Monday and she would try another potential solution. I spent 140.00 buck on these things, and it will be another week before I get my replacements, that is they send the shipping label. I have a feeling I'll be back on the phone on Monday. In my research, I see a few reviews from customers with the same issue. This has to be something that Jaybird is aware of, yet their solution is to hinder the customer due to a faulty product. I'm a little disappointed in Best Buy for not being more helpful, and am not sure how they carry a product like this. Needless to say, I'm musicless. I do not advocate someone else buying this produce. I'm going to get Beats tomorrow. The Jaybirds can be back up -- I'm not holding my breathe.

Overall amazing. Slight issues with charge, it says fully charged but then says to charge my headphones. I turn them off and when I turn them on approximately an hour later it says it’s fully charged

Jaybird X3 work great for everything. Except for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. In and out, the volume for calls is terrible. Sad part. Both companies are in denial. If you own one, you know what I mean.

For the past few years I have used $7 wired jvc gumies with no issues. They quit working so I decided to shop around for wireless earphones. Seems to be the new fad. After I read several reviews I decided to go with the jaybird x3. Well to my dismay they were out of stock. I waited a couple weeks and I checked back and bestbuy had them now. I bought them Monday the 12th and used them every day since today. 6 days . and took them back to bestbuy for a refund. Here's why. For $130. They're uncomfortable.i tried all the ear tips. I couldn't figure out which ear to use them in. Even after watching some instructional videos. They aren't marked L/R. the package didn't come with the clips to make the wire shorter instead it came with two packages of the silicone tips and one foam pack of tips.so that was a pain while lifting. I didn't want to mess with another brand of wireless because of the unpleasant issues I had with these x3s. So for $123 less I bought another pair of the wired jvc gumies. They sound just as good and are a lot more comfortable. They even have what ear to use them in! I don't have to worry about charging them and if they last me a couple years before they break again. No big deal. They're only $7! I'm a true believer in you get what you pay for. But in this instance I don't find that to be true.

Sound is good. Bluetooth connectivity is HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!! I would not buy these again!!! Put your phone in your pocket and expect dropped sound. Spend your money on a different pair. In addition, i have owned 2 different Jaybird products and both have failed within a year, but fortunately the company warranty is good and they have replaced them on both accounts. that is the only reason i am not rating them an one star.

Awesome many ways, but no longer charge after 2 mo

My ex-husband (a finicky engineer) used these wireless headphones and passed them on to me when he was done (like everything else). They were awesome! Sound was great, using them was easy, ++++ from me! Then - I lost them or someone stole them :( I was sad to see how much they costed but for the quality I sucked it up and bought another pair. I had the same experience at first, awesomeness, but after 2 months they would not charge anymore. Each time I connected them the red power light would come on briefly then disappear. They never charged again so I started looking at forums for support and learned that this is KNOWN issue with this company. Their technical support's attempt at a solution was just to do a simple factory restore and then "they should work". Well they did not and I have not heard back from tech support after I gave them the news. Needless to say, I did not buy another pair. Instead I've gone with Beats by Dr Dre for myself and my son and I'll tell you, Beats are the real deal. High quality, fantastic sound. Pricey, but worth every penny. If JayBird would simply fix the issue with the charger, they would have gotten 5 stars. I cannot give more than 1 star since I basically threw $200 down the toilet.

I use these buds for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week and I can say that they are outstanding. I haven't had a chance to use them while working out but the earplug type tips are super secure and haven't once fallen out on their own. I would absolutely recommend.

These are really good wireless headphones but as I continued to use them the silicon ear buds would become loose and fall off and I needed to buy replacement ear buds.

I purchased a set of X3's when they originally released a few years ago. Those earbuds were great up until about a month ago. One ear bud speaker failed. To me it was a no brainer to buy another pair since the last one's fit and sounded so well. Fast forward to now, I have been through three pairs of Jaybird X3's in the past 7 days. The first two pairs failed to power on after their first use. Called support and they recommended a factory reset which did nothing. The last pair works and will actually charge. However, the bluetooth connection will cut in and out with the phone less than 2' from the headset. These X3's have been a complete disappointment. Now the search is on for something that will compare.

It worked fined at first, I was glad that I purchased them but few months later it stopped working and now I can't even use them. I would charge the headphones until the light turn green and then when I tried to turn then on it would say 23% or any number but 100%. It would also turn off randomly or go from any number to 1%. It would fluctuate rapidly after fully charged. I did some research online and many people have reported battery problems. Do your research before buying it.

    Beware lip sync issues

The x3 has terrible lip sinc issues that cannot be corrected no matter what. Especially with you tube. I did everything from hard resets to updating my devices to no avail. Just search the web and you will find all kind of sync issues. Too bad because the sound, styling and fit are great but useless if you watch videos. I like to watch guitar and drumming tutorials but is too distracting.
