    Very fragile. Horrible customer service.

The only thing good i can say is the sound is decent. But the product is VERY fragile. The earbuds start falling off after a couple months. I can't begin to count how many times I have had to search for them on the ground. Lost several for good and had one stuck deep in my ear and had a devil of a time getting it out of my ear. Customer service is terrible. Said they were out of stock on parts even though they said they were for sale on their website, they would not send me replacements. Nice try making me pay for something I should get free.

Bad Product with No Customer Support

I purchased this product 4 months ago for $129 (to save a few bucks) and the battery started draining in OFF mode. I tried to contact their customer service with no luck. I chatted and emailed and they gave me the run around. 2 different reps gave me 2 different email addresses to email the receipt and both emails had auto-reply saying "the email is no longer was accepting inquiries" after 5 times of trying to resolve the issue, I eventually gave up. Now I need a new headset.

      Hi Erin,

We are sorry to hear that your Jaybird X3 will no longer hold a charge. We understand how you feel and recommend that you reach out to [email protected]. We will do what we can to help improve your experience.

Also, here are suggestions that can help prevent the issue from occurring.

      • Computers are the best and safest method, as is anything 1 AMP or less.
      • Car chargers produce a much greater power supply and should be avoided.
      • Over-charging the battery will quickly reduce the life of the headphones, so in addition to monitoring the power supply, limit the charge time to 2.5 hours,
      • To get the most out of your battery it is recommended to charge the buds when the low battery status is indicated.
      • Avoid charging your headphones after exposure to sweat.

    Not worth the $$$

My husband and I have gone through 3...yes..3 Jaybird 3x Wireless Headphones. After about 4 months of use one of the ear buds stops working entirely. Every time it's the right earbud. After the 1st one stopped working I thought it was just a flaw. So I bought another pair because I like them so much. And then my 2nd pair stopped working. then my husbands. I will not be purchasing these again.

    STAY AWAY

On my 2nd pair of these, if you're a gym-goer or a runner outside, you can and will experience bluetooth interference with these. These are built poorly and not able to withstand a simple run without annoying you the whole time with interference. I'm using an S7 Edge and have the same issue with 2 different sets of these things (after warranty exchange which took a month). AVOID at all costs

    Terrible Sound Quality

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

If you want to listen to any kind of music with even a minimal amount of bass while working out, these headphones are not for you. There is a ton of distortion on pretty much any hip-hop/EDM song you could possibly listen to. The Jaybird app does nothing to help with sound quality whatsoever. Save your money and stick with your iPhone headphones.

terrible headphones on my 4th pair

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

currently on my 4th pair of headphones and they do NOT seem to be sweat or water resistant. Each pair broke within 3 months, I am assuming from gym use. Jaybird support will not issue a refund or offer to switch to their RUN line, but instead will keep offering to replace the dead pair which takes 3 to 4 weeks to receive......

    Disappointed in Product and Service!!

I purchased Jaybird X3 Wireless for my husband for Christmas. They worked for a few months and then suddenly stopped. After fully charging them, they would only work for 10 minutes. I emailed Jaybirds and never received a response or an acknowledgement. They have horrible customer service and now I'm stuck with headphones that don't work.

    Works great.....at first

Had a pair for 14 months until one earbud stopped working and received a replacement pair. Then 8 months later the battery life turned non existent on the replacement pair. The battery life went from a full day to having to charge the headset every hour. Don’t buy unless you want to replace them every year.

Based on the insistence of the Best Buy salesperson I bought a jay bird. The power button was touchy immeadiatly after purchase but I thought this was an idiosynchrosy. In 90 days the button stopped altogether. I hope I just got a bad product. If not, I would not recommend this product.

Within 6 months the headphones stopped being able to hold a charge and shortly thereafter turned off in the middle of a workout and would not turn back on, even after charging. Better options at this price point.

Bought them and used them daily exercise (30-60 mins per day). The right earbud developed a crackle due to sweat penetrating the control module. For $120 I expected more. I returned them and went with another brand.
