The only negative is my ears hurt after wearing them longer than an hour. It lets you hear the outside noises very slightly, I’m guessing for safety issues.

She has a difficult time finding earbuds that fit and are comfortable, so they rolled to me when she gave up. I'm not that picky, but not matter which combination I tried of the sizes I tried, I couldn't find anything that would stay put in my ears. I LOVED the app and ability to customize the tone, but sadly had to return them due to fit. If they fit you, you will be very happy with the sound especially if you're an audiophile.
