My first soundbar. I normally get the 5.1 surround setups but just needed something for the living room better than the TV speakers that don't play sports sounds well. You get what you pay for so I spent a little more then the cheapest. JBL always has sound up there with bose so I knew it would sound and perform well. Major difference in sound of course, like going from a small old radio to a movie theater. Some claim a surround sound effect from these but I don't hear it. Bass is good, has 5 levels and I keep it on 2 for daily listening. Go to 5 if you want to blast some music and shake the room. I've heard better but from more expensive and bigger speakers so again you get what you pay for. If anyone has connectivity issues they probably aren't using the ARC to ARC HDMI connection or their TV is too old, it connects just fine and can use my TV remote. You'll need the app or remote to switch to Bluetooth or adjust bass/treble.

My husband bought this for me, as I am a big movie buff! honestly I feel like I am in a movie theater when i watch movies with this speaker on. my floor shakes with the bass that comes out of this! worth every penny!!!!!!

I got the JBL MK500.2 when it was on sale for $499. Overall its definitely an improvement for the stock audio on my LG C3. The sound from the soundbar improves clarity along with highs and mids. The subwoofer is actually pretty big and gives deep sounding bass which i feel like is annoying my neighbors lol. With the JBL app, i am able to have the bass turned down all the way but it is still noticable. I could not see myself spending over $1500 for the Sonos arc ultra plus their subwoofer. I am very pleased for this setup for right now and have always been a fan of what JBL has to offer. Not the top of the line but nowhere near the worst. If it is on sale, i would definitely suggest picking it up.

Great sound bar and subwoofer, easy out the box set up. The surround sound with the watching tv and movies is great! playing my music on Spotify is super easy and sounds great as well. One down side is that this JBL system only works with it self so can’t connect additional JBL speakers on the app

I had been eyeing this soundbar for a while but didn't want to pay the original price. When it became available on sale I decided to buy it. I am very happy with the product. The setup was easy and I noticed the difference between the television only sound and the enhanced sound from using the soundbar immediately. The bass rumbles the room and speech is clearer and easier to hear. I would definitely recommend this product.

I love JBL. I used to work as a Best Buy associate, so this has been on my wishlist for a while. I feel like it’s the best bang for your buck, and the bass is unreal. I also love the EQ balance, where I can really customize the sound to my liking.

The JBL BAR500MK2 delivers excellent sound quality with strong bass response. The Dolby Atmos adds a nice immersive effect, and the wireless subwoofer really fills the room without overpowering it. The only issue I’ve noticed is that the soundbar doesn’t always turn on automatically when the TV is powered on. It may just require tweaking a setting, but it’s worth mentioning. Other than that, this is a solid, high-quality product that I’m very happy with.

The setup of the speaker was pretty simple. I like the fact that the instructions were clear and simple. Now the sound quality is what you expect from JBL. I dont have a large living room so this setup was perfect. Not only is the bass loud but i can finally enjoy a good football game and movie with supported 5.1 sound. Didnt think there was a difference but there sure is

If bass is what you're looking for, look no further. I had originally bought a TCL Q75H to pair with my new TCL QM9K, and was very disappointed in the sound quality. Returned it and got this instead and what a day/night difference! This thing has not let me down and always sounds great whether it's movies or gaming.

Amazing sound, don’t need to look for anything else, I tried 3 other top brands but none fit on my expectations. 100% recommended Deep subwoofer ***** Crystal sound amazing for movies and music,my family noticed the difference right away, easy set up from my phone JBL ONE app.

Man, I upgraded from a Denon soundbar to this JBL Bar 500 and what a difference! Stunning sound, and house rattling bass. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for higher quality at a lower price!

Awesome soundbar!! Voices are super clear. The surround sound is pretty good in our living room. Sometimes I think the noises are coming from my left or right. The subwoofer is perfect. It has great tone, goes low, and makes movies more enjoyable to watch. Feeling the rumbles and explosions are so fun!

Fabulous sound and very easy to use and install. I am happy with it.

Sound is good. So far no problems. Doesn’t take up too much space.
