This is what I would consider a mid range wireless speaker and the sound quality is excellent! This small speaker had a tremendous sound and is so easy to pair and use. I like that it has hours of charge time for your phone or other device and music playing hours. It is lightweight at under 2 lbs and great for poolsides, on the boat, or pretty much anywhere. It sates that it is water proof up to 3.3 feet deep, but I am guessing that you can just drop it in the water by accident and if you retrieve it fast enough it will be ok and is good for splash zones and such. Anyway, for the price this speaker rivals traditional stereo systems that I have seen.

I purchased this speaker on sale for $129 and couldn't be happier. My wife uses it every morning in the bathroom as she gets ready for work. We take outside when we're hanging out. The sound is really good, its waterproof, which makes it versatile. Perfect for casual listening.

Overall I’m happy. I think the JBL charge 3 speaker beats my Bose soundlink mini. At first I didn’t really feel it compared to my bose but over the couple days I had it, it seems better in every way. At low volume it is clear and has good bass, at mid volume it has great bass and vocals and mids are clear. At full volume the vocals are great super clear, but the bass seems to disappear. But all I need is medium volume as it produce the best bass, mids, vocals and super loud. Overall good bang for the buck!

This speaker is awesome! I love it. It has a nice crisp clear sound. It is pretty loud considering it is size. Very portable and has a long battery life as well as rechargeable.

love this thing this is actually my second one, the port just broke on the other one. work great and you can charge your phone too or i use it to plug in a chromecast and make the speaker part of my whole home system but you can take it and put it anywhere which is awesome!

Showers, bike rides, beach time, and pool hangouts are 1000% better with this guy. I almost got the Beats Pill instead. Glad I didn't. I prefer this sound quality, bass is banging and I can do so much more. I lent it to a friend and he tried to buy it off me. Nouf said!

I was looking for something with good sound for entertaining in my backyard paradise. This was just the speaker I needed. It's compact to take with me, but also has great sound. The fact that I can link this with another speaker of the same model is even more impressive.

This is the best blue tooth speaker I have found. It sounds excellent and is also very loud for the size. Its waterproof and compact and holds charge for hours and hours.

Got this for my father as a birthday gift and he absolutely loves it! It's about the size of a telephoto camera lens, and seems very well built. Is waterproof rated and has a surprising amount of bass for a little speaker. I wouldn't call it high fidelity, but the sound quality is solid and excellent for a picnic, working outside, at the beach, or to carry while traveling. What I also love is that you can use it as a battery pack to charge your phone if needed. Well worth the price, and highly recommended!

I went in set on a Bose Soundlink 3 or mini 2. After auditioning the Bose vs. Sony, Altec, and these JBL's there was no comparison. The sound is great! The battery lasts a long time. I'd originally purchased the Extreme, which was great, but didn't travel very easy.

So this was another last minute Christmas gift for my boyfriend and he loves as I thought he would. I was going to get him the flip 4 because I have one and it sounds good, very loud but decided to get him this one because it was on sale for $99 from $149. It gets very loud and it has lots of Bass which I knew he would love. It’s waterproof, can charge other devices, has great battery life what more can u ask for. It’s more bulky than the flip 3 or 4 but it also does more too. Also takes 4.5 hours to charge but the battery life last long so I can deal with that.

After I figured out how to open the box, the set up and pairing to my phone was very easy. The sound is great and I particularly like the phone connectivity as my car does not have Bluetooth. As a drive a lot for business, this will be my new hands free device.

Purchased this speaker for my gym its great loud very clear and the bass is great. I also love the fact that I can charge a full form the speaker.

After getting it for use in my bathroom while I shower, we had an incident where it was knocked off a shelf and into the gaping maw of the nearby toilet. True to advertising, it floats and fortunatly for me it was the only floater that day. Also, it is indeed waterproof. On a side note, the grill acts as a wonderful toilet brush if you are so inclined. Anyhow, good sound (even from a toilet bowl) and completely waterproof. Great battery life, in a month of ownership I have listened to it daily and its still at 75% charge. I wish the app had the ability to remotely turn it off or set a timer to shut it off.

I was able to shop for a portable home speaker in store and I'm glad I was able to. I was focused to get something Bose, because you can't go wrong with Bose. I was able to compare speakers and I really liked what the JBL Charge 3 had to offer. The vocals are crisp, the bass is impressive, and the rounded sleek look is a bonus. This speaker topped off the Bose sound quality test and sounded just the same as Bose's top home speaker which was $299.99. I believe I payed $119 or $109 one or the other, regardless, I'm impressed with this speaker and it's durability.

Light enough to take everywhere, great for charging phones while listening to music. Clear sound and easy connectivity to pretty much anything! Love this speaker!

I absolutely love the JBL charge 3 speaker. In fact I bought another so I can get the ultimate stereo sound while being completely portable. I am very happy with my purchase and I highly recommend the JBL charge three… Since my purchase I have also bought a pair of JBL charge fours for my wife… Slightly better Bass from the fours at higher listening levels. Overall bang for buck is best in my opinion with the charge three format. Slightly smaller footprint and includes charger! Happy happy! Hope this helps you buy with confidence.

The clarity and sound quality is amazing! I was very surprised how loud the volume would go! Small and portable plus the battery lasts long.
