I bought this speaker to take with us on vacation - awesome sound, really good battery life, and perfect size - you can charge your device while using the speaker...nice feature - would definitely recommend!

Many of the Bluetooth speakers I've used in the past have been hampered with connectivity problems or poor implementation of certain features, but so far, this speaker seems to do everything right. It's got a lot of bells and whistles, relatively speaking, and it sounds pretty great, too (most importantly for the way we use it — as the audio output for computer presentations in conference room type settings — it can get LOUD, and it has a nice clear sound).

I've owned this speaker for a couple months now and am extremely impressed with the sound quality and battery life. While I haven't used this speaker to recharge my portable devices, I like the fact that this option is available. Also, it's nice knowing that this speaker is waterproof as we frequently take it with us to use at the pool and on vacation. If you're looking for a high quality bluetooth speaker with great battery life, look no further.

This speaker has been the best ive ever bought. Its not too small and its not too big. The sound is amazing and loud.I love that tou can have miltiple JBL speakers playing all at once by just pairing them with one button. By far my favorite feature. Its like surround sound but you only have to be connected to one speaker via bluetooth and the soeaker connects the other wirelessly. Battery lasts real long too. Amazing. My next speaker is going to be the xtreme.

The JBL delivers great sound, love that it is waterproof and love the size. Also, it is easy to use!

This is the second JBL charge, my first one is the second version of the speaker that is a bit smaller in size and has the capability to receive calls via the speaker. With charge 3 version the sound is better and the battery life is further improved, however at the same time the size is bit bigger. Bottom line if you are looking for a super portable, cool looking speaker that is easy to pair and has an awesome sound then this is it. Comparing with the other brands, this speaker has the most value (sound, look, portability, usability) for money. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I saw few things missing, which I liked in the earlier version that I have.

I absolutely love my JBL wireless speaker! It has great sound clarity and keeps a long charge for the times I use it alot. Best of all, it's also waterproof so I can use it poolside!!

I saw this speaker the first time at a friend's party. It was so powerful that I decided to get one. You can get a carry on accessory that make more transportable for $20 or so too.

Would be an awesome little speaker if it had the highs of the flip 4. Assuming Charge 4 will get same flip 4 upgrades and sound much better. Perfect size, charge out option, pair with other JBL speakers, rugged and waterproof, loud, and long battery life,......but had to return it due to lack of highs. Also sounds confined after listening to 360 speakers like fugoo xl and Bose Revolve. Would be perfect with deeper bass like fugoo xl, tweeters, and top or rear speakers for 360 emersive sound. I would pay more for those features.

I wanted a on-the-go speaker with great sound and durability. This has met my needs. So far I've taken it to the beach. The sand, heat and water were no problem. Battery lasted the 5 hours I was there on high with 2 of 5 power bars left. Sound Quality is pretty good for this size speaker. I listen to mostly rock and hip-hop and both sounded very good with the mini subs adding good sounding bass. Overall I am very happy with my purchase.

I had this for about a month and I love it. The sound quality is great and I’ve only had to charge the battery once. I have not gotten it wet so I don’t know about waterproofing .

I bought this speaker expecting the sound quality that JBL is known for and I was not disappointed. The compact size is great for any occasion. I bought the Charge 3 for the sole purpose of taking it to the beach for Labor Day. Being beachside and having great sound was exactly what I wanted and this product delivered that and much more. Waterproof is a very big plus in my eyes. Great sound from great product.

This is great for traveling. Music sounds perfect coming out and for such a small speaker it very powerful & booming. It's a great purchase. I'm looking to invest in another one.

Compared with the other speakers I have from JBL and Ultimate Ears this speaker has a much fuller sound with more bass and the battery lasts longer. It also has a USB power port so it can act as a phone charger. I do wish it had slightly crisper highs to complement the mids and lows, and it would be nice if it wasn't quite so directional with the sound, but overall it's still an excellent product.

I upgraded from a Sony SRS-XB2. The Sony is in a lower price bracket and it was okay, but the speakers were starting to go bad. Under the protection plan, I exchanged it for the Charge3. The battery life is excellent. Lasts a whole 8 hour shift at work, and can still go another 8 without charging. The volume, bass, and clarity are excellent. I'll see how it holds up to all the dust and shock of my work environment in the coming months.

I have been very happy with the JBL speaker. It does a nice job of consistently auto connecting to my phone when I power it up, provides much louder music and base than any of the other speakers I have purchased or tried at the school. My wife wanted me to include that it does not vibrate itself off countertops when playing base-heavy songs, as well! It was also unharmed when it was left out in the rain, as well, because of its waterproofing.

Was looking for a waterproof Bluetooth speaker that sounded good and would not break the bank. The charge 3 for the bill. Under 100 and the spound is very good. Maybe not a Bose but good overall. Easy to use and speaker phone works well too. I would recommend if you are looking for a good sounding speaker. I would not say that the Bass is deep and low but how could it be with a 2" speaker. It is goood but do not expect miracles.

I didn't know what I was really wanting for a wireless Bluetooth speaker..Best Buy Sales Person helped me to make a decision by demo the speaker with my iPhone to show me how easy it was to operate and the quality of sound for such a small speaker was great plus it can charge your iPad at the same time and I wanted to use it around the pool deck and the JBL Charger is waterproof..excellent speaker and I would recommend this product.

Needed to replace an old JBL speaker and it was easy to stick with a good brand and choose the latest model. Sound quality is good. Easy to pair with a variety of devises.

This speaker has exceeded my expectations by a lot. It is a small speaker that puts out a lot of sound. The volume is enough to hear across our baseball facility and the bass is great also. Crystal clear sound quality even at the highest level. The battery lasts a long time also. JBL got it right with this little speaker. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable speaker with phenomenal sound.
