The JBL Charge 3 is a fantastic speaker. It is incredibly rugged, is waterproof (and floats!), and has great sound. While it doesn't have the most ounchy bass, it is more than adequate for a speaker as small and portable as this. Add in the USB out to charge your devices (though it uses the speaker's battery which may be smaller than your phone's), and you've got a very good speaker

The Charge 3 manages a lot of sound from such a compact design. Couple it with a music app like Power Amp that has a good equalizer and you will feel like you have a full sound system. The dynamic range of the Charge 3 is very good. It provides room filling bass and clean highs. Sync it to a second Charge 3 and you get a clean stereo sound that is simply the best I've ever heard from a portable speaker system.

We were looking for a simple way to enjoy music . This speaker has a great sound is portable and allows us to stream music from any device And all stations .

I compared the sound with several others including Bose and more expensive. The woofer design of this system rocks. Midrange can vary a bit depending on the surface on which it is placed. On one counter it was weak but I put it on a coffee mug and it was bright and clear. Very rugged design so great for outdoors or a boat. Excellent battery life and just as loud on battery or AC unlike the one it replaced.

Pretty good little speaker this is. I use it when I travel through airplane and do not have much room for a large speaker. Packs some volume and bass with it. Has a USB output so you can charge your phone while listening to music. Battery life wise, I would say it could last up to 6 hrs of non stop music, full volume. Overall, it is a great Bluetooth speaker for the money.

I really like this speaker compared to the Jawbone mini-Jambox. The sound is great when I'm lounging around outside or working in the garage or around the house. I haven't tried pairing it with another JBL speaker, but I bet it would be even better. The battery life is exceptional as well and I especially like the light display showing the battery life. I've had it about 2 months now and have no problems!

This thing packs a punch! I listen to all genre of music from rock, country, hip hop, dance hall, etc and when cranked to the max it doesn't distort and still sounds great! It gets very loud and depending on the location you put it in a room I.E. In a corner or a place that projects acoustic well it will project out an even bigger sound. For 149.99 it sounds just as good as the Bose BT speakers and much less!

I wanted to upgrade from a JAM speaker that I bought for $30 or so. Tried out several in the store in the range of $80-$130. All sounded better than JAM of course, but it was tough to differentiate because they were all playing different music. My budget was $120, which is what I paid for the Charge 3. I'm happy with it. Even the wife is happy with it. Solid sound & good bass.

I take it everywhere, bought one for me a year or so ago! this last one is for my 83 year old mother, ( she just got a smart phone) speaker is so easy to use!

Great sound quality and battery life very durable recommend to anyone

This is a great purchase! I spent much time reviewing and demoing all kinds of speakers in this price range. This unit is loud enough to fill my backyard for parties and replace my rack stereo inside as well. Bluetooth is seamless and works well with both Apple and Android. I have not gotten the unit wet, so I cant comment on the waterproof. Overall, I plan on buying 1 or 2 more to fill up the house!

So I've had various Bluetooth speakers in my bathroom over the years but they were just the little $20ish ones that only last a couple days on a charge and put out dinky sound. This has changed my whole experience! The audio and the bass are obviously worlds better but the battery life is ridiculously better and the connectivity is worlds better. I'm never going back. This is worth the extra money.

This Bluetooth Speaker rocks!! Excellent response in both Bass, Midrange, and Treble. In addition, the unit fulfills its promise of great bluetooth range.
