I first reviewed and purchased a Sony 2.1 Channel Sound Bar (I admit I followed a friend's advice and saved some money). It may be great for some, but you get what you pay for and I didn't feel I got my monies worth. I trust JBL and that trust came through. Amazing Sound. Would buy again in an instant.

Don't be fooled by cheaper systems ! This system is well worth it ! So Just Get It ! You Will Not Be Disappointed !

Good bass system and clarity is good. Mounted on wall in man cave n it has decent distance sound. Bought attachment to hang from tv but forgot I had it so just hung on wall. Bass system is wureless so you can put it any where in room you want.

Excellent sound and no assembly required. Soundbar and a subwoofer is all you need to have a great sound system.

This was very easy to set up and very reasonably priced. I love the sound and the ability to sync w/my phone.

The sound clarity and bass are second to none. It allows you to easily program your TV remote to work with the system. The only caveat would be using the HDMI connection on the JBL back panel . It prevents you from watching TV (on mute) and listening to Bluetooth simultaneously. This is because JBL has a screen saver / display and when using Bluetooth, the HDMI input only shows the JBL display versus a TV channel. I decided to use the optical cord and leave my HDMI connected from my cable box to the TV and bypassed the JBL HDMI altogether.

I just got this to complete my entertainment system, it was louder than I thought, perfect for my small room

I love this soundbar/subwoofer combo, it is amazing for sci-fi movies, can't wait to watch football on it!

The sound bar has good volume however not sure if I like having to turn it on every time I turn on the TV.

Can not say enough about this sound bar. The sound is very clear and the bass will knock your socks off. I decided to give this a try after buying a 1400 sound bar and hated it, returned it and have JBL a try. This sound bar is smashing!

Yeah this is perfect soundbar has Bluetooth it's very loud that's only complaint but that's what it's supposed to do awesome deal I bought the open item and works perfect thinking about buying another one for my bedroom!

I've always loved bose products, but, for pro-sounding audio, the JBL SB400 goes way above and beyond.
