Tried a couple of sound bars at best buy and I asked the sales person if he would had to buy one for himself which one he would get?... He should me this one between others and we both agree that it was what I was looking for... I have a Sony smart tv and the image and everything is great but the sound sucks so this was exactly for me... I have a 46 inch TV and now the sound is amazing!!!... Also, I use it to play music through my iPhone or iPad and it's great... Also, u are looking long term... Such as when shopping for a tv

This is my first soundbar and I've looked at different brands out there and decided on SB400. Got it on sale during Black Friday for a great price. I Initially set up all of my input using the soundbar (PS4, cable, and Firstick TV) and had a lot of issues switching different inputs and ARC isn't as reliable. I also found out that one of the output (HDMI1) doesn't produce and sounds at all. Ended up connecting all of my video sources to my SONY 930D and used the optical cable and that seems to work fine so far. Sound is very excellent and I never had any issues with the wireless sub losing connection to the soundbar and hopefully it'll stay like that. I like the fact that you can make adjustment in the back of the subwoofer. I didn't like the remote that it came in with. Looks very cheap considering how much you pay for the system. Pairing up this system to your TVs remote is somewhat frustrating but after awhile I finally got it to work. Bluetooth is good and I haven't had any drops but one thing that annoys me is that you have to switch the setting to Bluetooth on the soundbar even though your phone is already connected to it. And I found out that if you're suing HDMI (ARC) as your main source from the TV it will automatically turn your TV on whenever you're using Bluetooth. Very annoying. Overall I'm happy with it but I'm going to be exchanging it for a new one for the fact that one of HDMI inputs does not output any audio. Lastly, I'd recommend getting the protection plan for this that way you're covered no matter what.

This sound bar has good bang for your buck. Easy installation and setup. The sound bar is very clear, and the sub provides enough bass to enjoy music and movies alike.

I had tried different Sound Bars. I could not find the right one. I bought the JBL SB400 at Best Buy. In using it. I thought I might take it back. It seems my biggest problem is getting enough Volume. This was the case with all Sound Bars. Some of the cheaper Sound Bars were bad. Let me explain a little more. I can play Blu Ray Movie, and some movies I can get to play louder. There are some that I have to max out the volume to play. This also holds true when I watch movies on Netflix, & watch other streaming movies. I do like the Sound Bar. I do believe the Sound Bar is powerful enough. The Sub Woofer is VERY STRONG. You have to turn it down. It is a very nice looking piece of equipment. To get the best sound. You need to watch a Blu Ray Movie. It has a nice touch with all the HDMI inputs. As said in other reviews the Remote that comes with it. SUCKS!! Remember this is a Sounder. Not a System with all the speakers. You do get get a decent subversive sound. Being a Elite Plus Member. I have 45 days to return. I am getting close to that. I think at this time. I am going to keep it. I do not want to spend $1,000 on a Sound Bar. Another thing. I did not want to run all the wires and use speaker stands anymore. I hope this helps.

I love the sound from this sound bar. We stream a lot of music to it from our phone via Bluetooth and it provides a simple experience with great sound in our home.

Bluetooth compatible so you can play music from other devices. Includes Wireless, Bluetooth subwoofer. It Beats. Kind of pricey, but sound is crisp and clear.

This set up sounds great. The bass is very adjustable and sounds clean. The sound fills my one bedroom apartment nicely. I like that you can mount it on the wall

This soundbar is one of the best on the market. We absolutely loved it, but I had to return it because there is a small technical glitch. When a song plays via bluetooth, the first 1-2 seconds doesn't play. It's strange that such a good oundbar would have such a glitch. This is mentioned on CNET's review too (which I read after buying). But otherwise, sound (music) quality is just too good, almost better than a Bose base model. So, if you don't care for missing the first couple seconds of your song, this is hands down the best soundbar.

I bought this as an open box with 20% off I was concerned it would be broken but it's a great sound bar .. just like at the movies !!!

I listened to several other soundbars before this one, this blows all others out of the water! Clear, crisp sound, and the bass, wow!

Great sound excellent quality. Sounds amazing when watching action movies. The sub shakes the whole house. I have complaints at all.

Awesome sound from this unit. Sounds much better then other options I looked at. The Bluetooth syncing is awesome and easy to use.

The sound is crispier when watching movies at home. Easy to mount on the wall and easy to connect to any bluetooth device in the home.

We had an old surround sound system with a 6 inch sub. This replaced it and has better sound though not quite the volume. But it does a good job in a 30 by 40 high ceiling room, which is about as big as it can handle. Geek squad guy in store was very helpful in answering questions. We were going with a smaller one until he found out the room size and was quite blunt in saying this MIGHT be big enough...he was spot on. Anything smaller would be disastrous and this in anything larger would be also.

Really good bass and overall sound quality. Great selection for the price tier it is in. Very satisfied with our purchase.

Sound quality is so amazing it changes the enjoyment level of watching tv. It was pretty easy to hook up. We love it!

Listened to the various sound bar models available and found JBL was the best product for quality and price point.
