The shape of a clam, emanating sound as pretty as a pearl! This recent open-box purchase of the JBL Clip4 was a very pleasant surprise. The price was incredibly low for what looks and performs like a perfectly functioning new product. Can’t find anything out of the ordinary other than a very securely-resealed package. As a long-time user and owner of a wide variety of JBL professional products, including a more comparable Charge 5 portable, I have to say that what people from the manufacturing industry call a “sound signature” is applied well here. The sound of the Clip4 and the Charge 5 sound pretty similar with the differences being less lower frequencies and volume coming from the Clip4. What makes the Clip4 useful, is its small size and portable proclivity. The speaker built onto the over-sized carabiner is a great idea and allows superior tag-along capability that might include attachments to backpacks, belt loops and bicycles. Whereas the manufacturer touts a water-resistant feature that might include some co-showering, finding plumbing piping that will fit within the gap of the carabiner might prove to be a challenge. Beach and pool-side splashes will be handled like a cool breeze on a hot day. One of the minor frustrations of a clam shell-shape is finding a way to utilize the edge of the product to rest and position the unit to direct sound out of the front to the intended listening position for the best sound balance when not using the carabiner. A small flat edge with a rubberized surface would have been a preferred choice than the harder, sharper unrest-able current surface. All in all, I’m very happy with this product and I’m sure the Clip 5 is even better for a slightly higher retail price. It has the true TWS feature that allows for two units via Bluetooth to portray a stereo image that the Clip 4 does not have. So, factor that into your needs when evaluating which product/price is your best fit. Happy listening on your next adventure!

I love it, its super light and sound quality is great. its pretty loud for the size and love taking it everywhere. the clip is genius. charges really fast and battery last long.

[Employee of bestbuy] The JBL Clip 4 is an amazing portable speaker with excellent sound quality for its size. The durable, waterproof design and built-in clip make it perfect for outdoor adventures. Bluetooth connectivity is seamless, and the battery life is impressive. A great choice for on-the-go music lovers!

Excelent speaker for all your stationary and on the go needs! I am a loyal customer who has purchased and reviewed many products over the years and in total ive purchased 3 of these Jbl speakers. I use them rough for years, it is such a durable and high quality product all around. Including sounds, asthetics, the clips usability, and overall great vibes of the speaker. Well done beat buy.

Absolutely love this speaker & design. Long battery life and great sound. The bass is exceptional for such a small package. I love this speaker! Well done JBL!

Super happy with this purchase! I used to have a larger job speaker that our family used poolside and it lasted for years! Wanted something smaller to take to events and my travels. Never know when you need it at a hotel to play white noise/nature sounds in order to sleep. Powerful sound out of a little portable speaker! Excellent quality

The new version of the Improved JBL Clip4 with sound, low and design to its predecessor now has type connection with 10 hours of reproduction time approves water and dust. With your integrated clip grip you can use it anywhere, whether your backpack or hanging in your car or in your room to listen to good sound.

Great little speaker. The colors and speaker overall looks better than was is portrayed by pictures in my pov. The sound quality is superb and battery life is excellent I use it for hours throughout the week and never have to recharge it more than once for a few hours.

Reviewing after just a little over 2 months of usage Audio Quality - 5/5 Portability - 4/5 Connectivity - 5/5 Battery Life - 5/5 Range - 5/5 Value For Money - 5/5 Overall - 5/5 This has to be the best budget wireless speaker of all time 'cause listening to music on this thing was a blast. The audio quality was really good, pairing took literally 4 seconds, it also had a range of about 10 meters. I never had any problems with it disconnecting or something like that and the battery also lasted a couple hours. The only downsides to buying this speaker is you'll be sacrificing a little bit of portability. Totally worth it though as the sound quality is really good and not to mention it has a clip that can be used to hang the speaker on a railing or something. I absolutely love this speaker and I would absolutely recommend getting this.

Love this mini speaker! Perfect size to stream music in my apartment. The charge lasts long enough for my usage. Love the caribiner, makes it easy to use anywhere.

Great sound and love the caribeaner clip. Being water resistant is a huge plus!!!!

Great audio , and bass. For a compact speaker. And it has a clip for onthe go which is a plus.

I love the size of the speaker and the sound, couldn't find something better than this. Awesome I love it

great sound! i use it for hiking and paddle boarding and it works like a charm. i’m in AZ and the battery life doesn’t seem to be effected by the heat/sun. i’ll go out for 4+ hours and it hasn’t died. big fan.

I love this little clip on speaker. I use it almost daily. It clips right onto my water bottle or a fence at work. The clip is sturdy, sound quality is great, battery is long lasting, charges fast, and its not heavy or bulky. Overall I love this speaker and would highly recommend it.

Being a 'audiophile' it's very important to have high quality music playing wherever I travel & enjoy life and this travel speaker is one of the finest I ever purchased for the money! Sound quality, being Waterproof & heavy duty hook to attach is where they lead

Works great perfect for on the go on bike rides, hiking or going to the beach. Ive had this jbl for a couple of years & has not failed me yet. Also it has a good amount of battery life for its size & it is LOUD. Exceeded my expectations but ofcourse JBL never fails.
