Was it the Bluetooth or the phones? I trusted the JBL name rather than my hookup. Maybe someone who is used to headphones on their smartphone stuff but I was running these from a Tuner. Not bad at lower volume, maybe I had the tuner itself too loud,

Easy setup and easy to charge and use. I'm just not a big fan of the cushioned ears because they make me sweaty and itchy, but for the price you can't beat it.
