You have to turn off the bluetooth on your phone so you won't hear the sfx from your phone and keep using the Google assistant through wifi. It is the worst Bluetooth speaker that I have ever had and the worst Google assistant I've ever had. They should have just picked one thing and tried to do that best. It barely stay connected and Google never heard me. I wish I had my 90 dollars back.

A Portable Battery Powered Black Google Home

I was after another one and Best Buy have this JBL Speaker with Google Home so decided it was worth a try. Setup is easy, just like with a Google Home (you need the Google Home app). The JBL connects to WiFi and has a battery - so it's portable and can go anywhere. Sound wise, it's got much better sound than the Google Home and can pump up much louder. Deep base and solid mid to high range. I like that it also has dedicated volume buttons. It also works as a bluetooth speaker. If you're looking for an alternative to the Google Home, one that is black, portable, runs on batteries then this is for you. Recommended.

Only worked for a month

I had that fixed but I had to call the manufacturer, send it back and then wait for a new one to come in. Well the new one worked for about a month then the charging port sunk in again. Never buying this brand again.
