Terrible product

Awesome suction mount!

Not the one you want for Automotive
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So I heard great things about Joby mounts from friends so I got this one thinking it would give me the most flexibility for getting the right angle. I found while driving on the track that the flex arm does not do well with G-Forces you get through the turns. I found myself or passenger having to re-position the GoPro after we would go through a turn. There is another that has a fixed arm. Two of the other drivers had that one and it did great when mounted inside. I was leery of mounting to the outside so I mounted to inside of the window. The guys who had the fixed arm version mounted theirs outside the car to the roof. One made it around the track without issue, the other driver had his fall off. We came to conclusion after talking and other experiences the mounting surface needs to be very clean and smooth a glass. Any imperfection even though it feels suctioned down at first will allow it to pop off.
