Installed myself due to COVID-19. Very easy to follow instructions. My only issue is there is no directions on how to adjust the sound to the speakers. Took a while playing with the radio but I finally figured it out. Easy CarPlay it has Bluetooth also but the CarPlay sounds much better and clear due to you need a usb cable. Bluetooth sounds muffled.

I initially bought this because my lighter port in my car stop working therefore I couldn’t charge my phone and the factory stereo didn’t come with a charging port . I figured why not get a car play . I also do DoorDash Uber and things like that so I use my gps on my iPhone a lot and this really comes in handy my gps pops right up on the screen. The Bluetooth is also great . The only thing I didn’t like is you have to have Sirius xm reinstalled in your vehicle even if you had it prior to getting in & it’s around $80 smh. But I downloaded the Sirius xm app and I still get the exact same live radio stations so it’s a fair trade. All in all I love it it’s pretty and does what it promises

Had this installed by best buy in my no frills 2012 jeep compass. i went from the stone age to modern age . apple car play is a must . stero and systems works great. if you have a no frills car upgrade with this system

Installation was a bit tricky but not JVC’s problem. After I got power to it, set up was easy and is loaded with tons of features for audio.

It was cool at first and now I’m having an issue. My screen went black no music will play even on Bluetooth and I removed the radio & the fuses are fine.

This unit had a great fit and looks great. The functionality is AWSOME. I use the usb as apposed to the BTooth as the install tech mentioned and it works just right. The Easter eggs are a plus from JVC and sounds great too. Happy with mine.

I have a 15 year old Nissan Frontier and the factory unit went bad. I decided I wanted to upgrade to something with a touchscreen, bluetooth and Apple CarPlay. Also I wanted something I could install myself as a fun project. After going back and forth on this JVC and a comparable Sony, I chose the JVC as there was an open box offer that saved a few dollars. Installation in my truck was pretty easy. The Metra wiring kit was a must to make this easy. This is certainly more powerful a head unit than my factory. The factory speakers sound a little better with this unit. The operation of the radio isn't that intuitive, but you get used to it. The CarPlay works great, Bluetooth is also good so I can now stream music and use the speakerphone.

I wanted to up grade my BT JVC stereo to something with Apple car play. This was on sale and I didn’t have to do the installation so it seemed like a good time to make the purchase. Apple car play is great and the mic is clear when I make calls with the top down in my Jeep. You can tweak the sound to your liking which was great for me since the last stereo wasn’t able too.

We bought our teenager daughter a car that didn’t have a backup camera and only had a tiny radio that didn’t give her any navigation system. Kids nowadays have no sense of direction and we thought we would be less worried having her looking at a navigation screen in the dashboard than to look at it in her phone. She connects her iphone to the system and uses either google or waze for directions. The backup camera was added also and she can see in the screen when backing up. We liked it so much that added a radio and camera to an old truck we have also.

I put this in a 2007 Toyota. Pros: Great to have CarPlay in this older vehicle. Works well. Also nicely featured without CarPlay. Screen is actually a teeny bit more responsive than other built-in infotainment systems I've used in some other cars. Cons: It takes about 10 seconds to boot after starting the car. I worried this would bother me at first, but it's no big deal.

I purchased this radio to replace a piece of junk I got back in December that had built in navigation, but never worked right. I decided to try Apple car play and I love it. I now have several navigation apps to choose from and XM radio. This is a very good radio and I highly recommend it.

This JVC stereo is awesome! The WiFi and iPhone connection is over the top. I ability to have Siri read aloud my text messages and send messages is a great feature. The back up camera is icing on top.

This is such an amazing upgrade for my stock radio! I Have a 2009 Ford F-150 so I wanted something with Bluetooth, apple CarPlay and ability to display backup cam footage for a future purchase. This fit the bill and has great JVC build quality. The Apple CarPlay is awesome and being able to listen to texts and use certain audio apps is such a huge plus. Call quality is great with the external microphone and the interface is very nice. My only reason for 4/5 stars is the JVC app. It’s super terrible and isn’t worth the download at all.

Purchased this for our granddaughter. Wanted something with hands free and navigation, but affordable. Although it does not have navigation, we chose this model because of the CarPlay. It gives her the ability to use the maps in her phone, which works just as good. It did take her a bit to familiarize herself with everything, but she is loving it!

Had this receiver installed in a 2003 Tacoma to replace the factory radio. Fit perfectly and it looks like it was factory installed. Easy to operate and works perfectly with our iPhone.

Bought this so I could use my iPhone and also as an upgrade for my 2011 Mitsubishi Lancer Sportdback. Satisfied my need for hands free phone plus fave me navigation and Pandora music. Very happy. Prefer it to navigation and no Apple CarPlay in my E350 MB!

I got this for my wife for Christmas. She has been out a radio for about a year and a half. She has a 2012 Sportage and it fit perfect. She loves the Apple play and tells me all the time that she forgot what it was like to have a radio. She loves it!!!

Replaced the factory stereo in a Jeep Patriot with this JVC unit, with work done by the Best Buy auto installation team. Everything works smoothly and sounds great! Apple CarPlay makes driving a lot more fun, too.

This car stereo has made my wife’s commute fantastic! We had Best Buy Installation and it was relatively quick and expertly handled. The stereo sounds amazing (with a new pair of Pioneer front speakers) in her Subaru.

Product is great, but when I took the JVC Media Receiver to Best Buy to install the Tech said the product was an open box. The product was missing the speaker and all wires. Tech had to test the product before installing. Very dissatisfied with the shipping and packing of this product and I paid full price and not open price. I see open box price is 189.99 plus tax and I paid 249.99 plus tax.
