My other fridge was over 30 years old and I could not keep fresh fruit in it for more than two days before it would go bad, I have had strawberry and blackberries in the new Kitchenaid for a week now and they still look good.

Great appliance with really neat options. I like that it is the same size as my old refrigerator, yet is roomier inside. I'm glad I bought it.

Worse refrigerator I have ever owned! Please do not purchase this kitchenAid appliance. I have had three of them and now in the process of a 4th replacement due to the issues with the ice maker, water, and the installation. Each refrigerator had multiple issues and now my fridge stinks, doesn't make ice or produce water. The quality is so poor. Please choose wiser!

Note: this "counter Top" depth is 3 inches deeper than the old Kitchen Aid which supposedly is the predecessor of this one. also a bit shorter - thus sticks out farther than the one it replaced

we really like the layout, it's easy to see what's in fridge. we had a french door fridge but we found that it's not convenient. cons: a bit expensive

Stylish design. Have only had for a couple of months and it has been issue free so far. Hopefully it stands the test of time.

The install was less than desirable however. I had to call for them to come back with some issues with the install of the appliances.

Maybe simpler is better. With the fridge side temperature set to 37 (the factory default), the refrigerator worked for about three weeks. Then the temp on the fridge side went up to 50 degrees and all of the food spoiled. There is no way to arrange service on the KitchenAid web site (it shows no availability for any day). They don't accept phone calls on Sunday. The BestBuy web site shows that it is no longer returnable (beyond 15 days). So it looks as though this will turn into a multi-month project as it has for some other folks. We have a 6-year-old LG fridge in an apartment that has worked perfectly since new. Unfortunately, the slot in our home kitchen is an unusual size and this is the only dual-evaporator fridge that would fit.

I love the ice maker in the door, the visibility of the items in the refrigerator and freezer and the door control panel.

My refrigerator works like it should but I haven't received the gift card that was promised six weeks ago.
