This dishwasher is a great product from Kitchen aid. Very quiet, you can hardly tell it’s on. Cleans dishes very well and dries them without leaving any spots on glasses. The only negative is the third rack. This is useless, you can barely fit anything on the top rack and it also prevents you from putting large items in the middle rack. I removed the third rack and that solved the issue. The only reason I got the 3rd rack was because I needed to go up to the next model for an extra $150 dollars to take advantage of the free installation. The installation costs about $150, so I figured I would spend it on an upgrade instead. The upgrade came with the 3rd rack, bottle washers, 39 decibel sounds with is very quiet. If you are looking at this product, just buy the one with two racks. You’ll fit more Dishes

Our dishwasher was old and very loud and eventually broke so we replaced it with this KitchenAid. When looking we did all the reviews and generally found Bosch to be higher ranked in overall quality but after talking to people we did not like the lack of heating elements in the Bosch and the design of the racks as they are made for European Dishes. We decided to go with KitchenAid and have been very happy. The washer is so quiet we have to see if it is running. The third rack has been a life savor with a long child. We had a door latch error keep coming up and KitchenAid sent out a tech and replaced and fixed with no issues. The face that we had to do that in the first month was concerning but everything works great now.

Everything working fine after 3 loads complete. Very quiet, can't even hear it running in the background. However, it takes over two hours from start to finish... that is inconvenient at times. Dishes and silverware generally clean after cycle complete; some hiccups on cereal bowls and silverware with leftover particles of food.

The bomb so far...we replaced a 20 year old KitchenAid that often did 2 full loads a day with this and then held our breath. So far...NO complaints. It is quiet, it has never left food/detritus on the dishes, and it is easy to load/unload.

I have had for about a month now, it is very quiet! I can barely hear it running even while standing next to it. Looks great, seems to wash dishes very will, I like that it has a third rack and the stainless steel is finger print proof. Very happy with the purchase.

Unbelievably quiet! Can't even tell its running unless you put your ear up to the unit. Even then you can barely hear it! Amazing. Cleans very well, love the bottle washers. Great price and service. Best buy offer free delivery and installation.

This is an excellent dishwasher. The was, dry and energy use is excellent. Has a stainless steel interior and ample slots for flatware. The adjustable upper rack is very convenient and has a self cleaning filter. Pot scrubber function is great. Very quiet machine

This dishwasher is silent, the only way you know it's on is if you look for the light. The adjustable racks are excellent and third rack is perfect to lids and other small items. Highly recommend this product. So much better than my Bosch.

I read the reviews, some good, some bad. I had a great one. Whisper quiet. Cleaned great. My wife didn’t like how long it took to do a complete cycle thru drying. Never had an issue.

The dishwasher is quiet. I will give it that. I dont think it washes the dishes very well and I have used the pro and normal settings. The WORST thing is the smell! It STINKS! I run the drain option after every load but it still smells. I rinse my dishes off well before I put them in so that isn't the problem. I also clean the filters often and there is never anything in them but there is always water standing right under the filters. It may be an installation issue that it doesn't drain properly. I am sorry I replaced my old dishwasher just because I wanted one that was quieter.

Dishwasher works great, closely matches our other appliances, is so quiet that you don’t even know it is on! Easy to use cleans great.

Clean design. Super quiet - can't hear it when it's running. Cleans dishes good with minimal pre-scrubbing. Very pleased with the purchase.

This is the best I have ever owned. I barely rinse the dishes and they come out spotless.

When I first got this dishwasher I was a bit disappointed because dishes were not clean when using the normal cycle. However, when you use the Pro Wash cycle I am amazed at how clean it gets even the dirtiest dishes with no rinsing! The dishwasher is also quiet. My only complaint is that it is easy to accidentally turn it on with the touch buttons on the top which is annoying.

We have had it for about two years or so. It really is amaizingly quiet. Unfortunately, one corner of the control pad on the door broke and fell off. Still works but time to time the control panel would act up, like blinking different options on its own. Have to power down and then up to reset it. Unfortunately, KitchenAid would charge to even send somebody to look at it and then decide whether it will be covered under the warranty. Pretty disappointing :(

This is the main reason I purchased this dishwasher. It is one of the lower db at 39. I haven't installed it so can't report if it actually washes the dishes, but the salesperson told me it does. :)

Great, quiet dishwasher. It washes and dries really effectively leaving no residue or spots. The quietest dishwasher I've ever heard, even on the toughest settings (which you don't need all the time, I normally do a "normal" wash). Has an adjustable top rack which comes in handy, as well as a third rack at the very top for long knives, spoons, etc. Stainless steel has a certain elegance to it. Makes the kitchen look better.
