Needed to replace an 8 year old high-end European brand that had been replaced twice. My husband decided we needed a dependable brand. I wanted quiet and a third rack option. This one has the pro-dry option and the third rack and is only 39db. Our salesperson, Paul, at the Vernon Hills store was very knowledgeable and helped us narrow our options to this one. Was installed very professionally over three weeks ago and we are very happy so far.

Very quiet, but slow cycles Dries well even top shelf

I was unable to get to the store due to illness. I spoke with the salesperson on the phone. He was VERY helpful in assisting me to this model. The sound is almost nonexistent it’s so quiet (very strange, but liking it). It cleans and sanitizes wonderfully. I love the water bottle cleaners...but wish there were more than 3 nozzles. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase!

We have had this for about a month and love it. It does a great job cleaning and drying the dishes. We also found the bottle wash option really helpful. Still trying to figure out if the 3rd rack will stay or go. Also, this thing is super quiet. The only noise we hear is when it’s draining water into the sink.

This dishwasher is amazing, it is super quiet, the exterior is gorgeous and it washes dishes phenomenally. You can put dishes in with food stuck on them (directions tell you to) and it fully cleans them, sparkly clean. I do with the plastic on the front around the handle was metal but all in all it is a great dishwasher.

Only have this dishwasher for one week but it’s super quiet, washes better than my old KitchenAid that broke after 15 years and looks sleek. I removed the silverware container and have been using the top pull out shelf which is working out better than I thought it would. this way I have additional space for large bowls on the bottom shelf.

I’ve run the dishwasher a few times since getting it, and it has worked well. It’s incredibly quiet, and the dishes were cleaned well. The top rack has extremely limited use, such as larger, flat utensils, large flat pot lid, or perhaps a cookie sheet. I’m happy with it at this point.

For starters, we had to have our brand new unit replaced when a few small rust spots appeared on the inside of the door after only about 3 uses, but Best Buy was very gracious about doing it and making it happen quickly. We replaced an older KitchenAid and this one is fine, but in their design to include a third, flat top rack, it feels like the capacity has been limited a bit. So we're still learning how to load it as full as we'd like it. It does seem to clean well and is very quiet, and we like the bottle wash feature, too.

I choose this dishwasher because our 6 year old one had started to have issues. I looked into repairing it but the parts alone seemed like a lot without the labor so we choose to go with a new one. I wanted our new one to be better than the old one so we decided on this upgraded model. This Kitchen Aid has stainless steel tub which our old one didn’t have and some new drying feature. Our old Whirlpool never dried well and this one dries very well with and without the drying side. Except if there are a lot of plastics it doesn’t even need it. It washes better than the old one using the same tabs as before. My only complaint is that it’s a tad deeper than our old one which I didn’t realize until it was installed and yet it doesn’t accommodate as many dishes as the old one. I guess probably because the old model had the utensils on the door and this one has them in the bottom basket. It also has a third tray in top which is handy except that sometimes it gets in the way if you have tall glasses in the middle basket tray. It can be removed but then where do you put the thing. Overall we are pretty happy with this Kitchen Aid dishwasher.

Bought this dishwasher almost two months ago and have been very impressed. The unit is very quiet and the dishes are wonderfully clean . The top rack feels like it is spring loaded as you barely pull the rack out and it just pops out. You shouldn’t be disappointed with this model.

Short answer, best dishwasher ever. Longer read... So quiet, nice looking display and controls, very nice gliding racks, water bottle spray heads, 3rd rack, best drying ever. More... We have owned 4 different dishwashers over the years, including a high end LG. This is by far the best.

Consumer Reports has very good reviews for most KitchenAid models, but unfortunately not this one. This model was highly recommended by the store associate when I bought it and was on sale so I decided to go for it. I really should have checked model numbers as the CR reviews were mediocre on this particular model. It does run super quiet, which is a plus, but requires pre-washing and pre-scrubbing to really get dishes clean. The top pull-out shelf is nice for utensils, though we usually forget them up there! Our biggest complaint is how long the cycles take. We have a large family and if we load breakfast and lunch dishes we’re lucky if the cycle completes by dinner so we can unload and re-load. If you have a smaller household and only do one load at night this model could work for you.

This thing is so quiet you question whether it's running or not! The only sound is water gurgling in the drain briefly. Dishes come out spotless and DRY Everytime! Skip the rest and spend the little extra for this unit! You will be glad you did!

Love this dishwasher! It is soooo quiet, you cannot hear it unless you are standing next to it. I also like the fact that you can fill it with many items, large and small. Best Buys' customer service, as well as the install and delivery were also great. Thank you!

Had a hard time deciding between this dishwasher and the Bosch I had previously. The price was significantly better, so chose this one. Very quiet, and cleans almost as well as the Bosch. If money were no object, I would have purchased the Bosch, however this is a very good choice.

This is the quietest dishwasher I've ever had or heard. In addition to the very sleek styling, solid interior and very clean dishes, we barely hear the dishwasher when it is in the cleaning mode. I highly recommend this dishwasher!

We have had this dishwasher for about one year and we love it. Very quiet and does a great job cleaning our dishes. The long cycles take a little getting used to but the dishes and glassware are clean and dry.

I have had 3 dishwashers and this is the first one that is so quiet when it's running you don't know it's on. I have done a lot of research and love this dishwasher always perfectly clean dishes.

This is super quiet indeed. Cleans great and no issues so far. We did buy the extended plan due to so much electronic parts these days. Installer was courteous and knowledgeable, very careful too.

Love this model! So quiet, solid quality. A must have for any kitchen, especially a small house! Upper silverware drawer is fantastic. Just can’t speak highly enough about the dishwasher. Glad the sales staff recommended this over other models.
