After my old immersion blender of 20 years finally died, I was worried I might never find one that could hold up to it. This blender did a spectacular job as a replacement. It's extraordinarily powerful yet so silent its like it's not on at all.

I have the cordless version at home, but needed another immersion blender at work. It works immensely better than the ancient Black & Decker one I used to have. Like the one at home, I appreciate the fact that the blender arm is solid at the bottom, rather than in multiple parts like the old B&D. There is a single button on this one to control speed, rather than the two on the grip of my cordless. The length of the cord is ok for me, because I just use the counter by the outlet. The main problem is with the sound. Every person who has heard me use it has to come and see what is making the racket. For work, I don't mind the cord, but definitely appreciate the cordless at home.

I used it twice to make Hummus. It worked well. It only has 2 speeds if that matters to you. Press the trigger lightly for slow and harder for fast. The container with covers nice.

Great immersion blender. Hasnt scratched any pots yet, easy to clean, no mess. Only thing is i wish i had splurged a bit to get the cordless for even better managability, but even still the cord is a good length

Nice blender with enough power to do what I need it to do. (i.e. blend). The variable speed is nice and with the guard on the bottom I feel confident that I'm not going to be scratching up my pots. It's only been a few weeks but I'm very happy with the purchase.
