    I bought this as a gift for mom, It wasn't used until a few week after the purchase, which is when we noticed that it's difficult to get the jar to attach to the blender base with just one arm. I would recommend another blender that's easier to attach and un-attach from the base,

    Bought this in spite of the pitcher being plastic hoping with it being Kitchenaid that it would have quality ice crushing power. Its performance was on tier with an Oster price mark. I was just as happy with the thrift store blender I regrettably gifted away at the time of this purchase. We returned the blender because there was something rattling around in the base. Not up to Kitchenaid performance standards. Doesn't "cyclone" contents downward for blending action. Has to be manually pressed/stirred down to blade. Nice-looking, but for the price, buy something else.
