It is a complete metal, heavy-duty, durable food grinder. I was going to buy a plastic one, cheaper version, then found out that that one comes with more attachments than a plastic version. I would recommend buying this one.

We grind our own meat for hamburger. The parts are metal and are made very well. I store it in the box and it’s bulky but it keeps everything organized.

It is very easy to set up a use. It has various grinding heads for different sizes of your grind. Actually has a sausage, stuffer attachment, and cleaning tools. I was able to grind 10 pounds very easily, without any issue. I have been looking for something that is easy to store and doesn’t take up a lot of space because I do not grind sausage or burger on my own that often. This works perfectly with our mixer.

First time using a meat grinder. Bought 15 lbs of london Broil add some bacon fat to it freezing the bacon fat into 1 oz portions. Bought 1 lb of bacon fat so for every pound of meat did 1 oz. Of fat. Worked out good made good flavored hamburg pattys. We also bought a vacuum sealer to keep everything fresh. After buying the London Broil for under $2/lb and the price of hamburger meat now days paid for over half the grinder already. Have fun with it. Im 64 year old and still learning new things to do. Wish i would have done it earlier in life. Just make sure you chill the grinder and meat before grinding.

I got this on sale, but totally would have bought it full price. I decided to buy it after using my friend’s to make burgers. It’s totally worth it to grind your own meat for burgers and things. You just have to make sure everything is chilled, so it doesn’t get clogged.

Never ground my own meats until now. Great way to make good tasting ground meat and knowing exactly what goes into your food. who knows what ground meat the store has inside. the sausage making attachment is fantastic. super easy to clean if you know how to.

Work well really like the fact that it is all metal. Ground around 15 pounds of meat. Breaks down easily for cleaning.

This product works great. I have used it to grind brisket to make burgers. The first was a course grind and then I did a medium grind. The result was incredible. I have also ground a combination of chicken thighs and breast to make chicken burgers. I also enjoy the way you can disassemble the grinder for a complete and thorough cleaning. It comes with 3 grinding discs and the ability to make sausages. I would definitely recommend this product.

The attachment is made of good quality metal and it did a fine job grinding meats and very soft bones (like chicken wing bones). I attempted to grind chicken feet when I was making a raw feeding mix for my dogs. I learned the limitations of the KitchenAid processor the hard way. It can handle soft bones, like wings, but hard bones like chicken feet are too much. The gear in the processor broke and now I have to get the processor repaired. The meat grinder attachment itself is still in perfect condition.

What can I say, it's a KitchenAid product and it lives up to their great reputation. All durable metal construction, simple to use, easy to clean and has three different size grinding discs.
