Awesome solid clean bass. I was amazed at what this was capable of. I paired this with the rest of my klipsch floor speakers and rears and the room came to life with this turn on the low setting. If I wanted to push it it would shake the house down halfway turned up. Great quality and you won’t be disappointed with this purchase

I need to qualify my review. "Room shaking" bass was not a requirement in making this purchase and I even doubted the need for a sub-woofer. However, when Best Buy offered this sub-woofer at a deep discount, I didn't hesitate to purchase it and have been quite pleased at how it enhances the overall home theater experience.

I bought this with the Klipsch Quintet set and it just rocks my house on low output. This is better than my old Polk Audio 12" sub that it replaced.

I use this for audio only and was concerned it would be too booming and weird, but after some quick adjustments it sounds great. It is definitely capable of being too booming and weird, so if that's what you want, throw caution to the wind and go for it. If you want it for audio, just be willing to tweak it for five minutes.

I happen to catch klisph on sale at best but,I bought the floor speakers , book shelf speakers went home and hooked them up it was a good upgrade from my current system (Polk) then I thought about the sub woofer,so I went and bought it ,, and man what a nice sub woofer nice punch that was missing from my current system

Why a subwoofer? Cause BASS that's why. You want it? You neeeeeed this subwoofer. Bass, bass, bass....all about that bass! This component builds your sound on a deep level.

Bought this after reading many reviews in a home theatre system with a pair of Klipsch Heresys in front. Blends well with the Heresy's great mid and high end by tightening the bass. Very clean and not boomy. Wasn't sure if I would need the 12", but more than satisfied with the 10" sub. Also great sounding when listening to my vinyl collection.

Excellent bass tone and range of adjustment for different acoustic input, from music CD's to full surround movies. Bass sound does not have the smooth and full quality at .low volume that you would find with higher end subwoofers, but still exceptional for the modest price.

I did my research before buying a subwoofer and it was down to this one and something out of my price range. I ended up listening to both at a Magnolia store and enjoyed the sound of the Klipsch more than anything else. The 10" fits perfectly in my living and has converted every movie and game to such an enjoyable experience. Go getcha one.
