One of my friends has three kids and the other one only has one kid. I bought two sets for the people that have three kids and one set for the child that is our only child. The child was the only child just dropped the marker onto the dog and plays with the dog

Lazer Tag on a Budget

The guns work pretty well if you are not too rough with them. The targets seem to be sensitive but not too sensitive. I have used them with the boy scouts as well for a fun activity when we are feeling too cheap to go to an actual lazer tag venue.
