Our client asked us to look at this product so we pulled one into our office. After playing with it, aka testing, we found that it works great for a product under $100. Can't wait to see a version in the near future that has even more abilities. Very accurate and very cool.

I wanted a LEAP Motion ever since I first saw a demo of it. It does do all the things that the videos show although I haven't quite transitioned to using it day to day. In particular, I am not sure if putting it in front of the keyboard on my crowded desk will work right. Still experimenting...

Well made and easy to set up. I bought it to experiment with augmented reality apps. It will not replace a mouse and keyboard, but offers an interactive experience with finger tracking more accurately than with the Kinect. I'm running it with a paint program going through a projector to create virtual graffitti by just pointing a finger at the wall. I would suggest you browse the online app store before buying. That would give you more ideas on how to use it.

This has the potential to be great but it still a ways away from truly being useful. If you are an early adopter and want to be one the first ones to try this new piece of tech out great, give it a whirl. If not give it sometime and wait to see what they do with it next.

The Leap Motion Controller is a great piece of technology that is very responsive and natural to use. It can make human-computer interaction easy and effective. One also might feel like iron man.

I heard about this product and want to test out the leapmotion. However, the outcome is a bit disappointing. The sensor isn't responding to my hand as smooth as I would expected. Also, the area it will sensor is small. All of these might improve once is familiar with the product. One more thing, one would expect to have more fun, engaging and free apps to be available with the price paid.

The product functions very well. And when you buy the apps that work with it you have an awesome product. It really needs more widespread support in software

Although it can sense depth, overlapping of finger is not able to be detected. Not a productive device.

    Disappointing, for me at least

Yes, in theory, it seems like a great graphic art tool, but in actuality, I simply couldn't get it to work, and on two computers--a desktop and a laptop--both Windows 7 Professional. The software install kept telling me that my video card was more then three months old and needed to be updated. Although I was wondering if anyone in the world had a video card that was less than 3 months old, I went ahead and everything possible to update, but nothing worked. In fact, all attempts served to only mess up my computers to such an extent, that they had to be restored. Although I realize that the unit does in fact work for many other people, in my case it didn't, so I returned it, but did so sadly, as I had been hoping for a better outcome.

The Leap Motion is a great idea. I hope that they get the software problems fixed before too long. The touchless program does not work well on either Windows 8 or 7. So, right now the Leap Motion is just a fun way to perform art on the computer.

I got it thinking that I could remove my keyboard and mouse. It is a cute toy, and that is about all I would ever be able to use it for. Not versatile at all. Already put it away, with the other useless things I have purchased in the past.

I know this product may have a place for some users but for me, it was more difficult to control and not worth the effort. I wanted to be able to touch the screen and have it move not have to manipulate my fingers. Just not the product for me.

Best new innovation since the mouse. I have explored many of the apps and found all of them to be compliant and just plain fun to explore. The control is "different" so takes some time to use effectively but once your brain makes the change from finger to freedom it is fantastic. Looking forward to more business applications to test. Neighbor kid and grand kid thought it was awesome (gained me some points in esteem) and picked it up very quickly. Thank you.
