Good bike but MISLEADING RANGE

The range is extremely inaccurate because the further I could go was around 20-25 miles and not 80 miles like advertise. A little disappoint because I can't go further so it is only used for daily commute of less than 5 miles round trips.

It's light compared to other ebikes I've tried, and the pedal assist is very smooth. (I've tried the XP 3.0, and that one feels way more herky jerky than this one.) If I'm riding on flat surfaces, it feels like I'm riding a non-ebike as there's barely any motor resistance. The only time I think of using the throttle is on start up when it's uphill. Other than that, it feels unnecessary. If you like to ride faster than 16 - 17mph, this bike isn't for you, as there are no gears, and so, by the time you're riding 20mph, you're having to pedal hysterically to keep up. Personally I like the slower pace of around 15- 17 mph, so this suits me great. It makes for a more leisurely ride. And there's something about the simplicity of not having to deal with gear changes. As others have likely written, this bike is nimble and it just feels more fun to ride than most of the ebikes out there.

This Kills Riding The Bus

First off This E-bike can last 80 miles. That alone deserves a 5 star. Imagine going 10 miles one way and having to charge after 5 more because the battery is draining which makes the motor stop and now your depending on your own muscles. Second, i can go 20 whole miles without pedaling at all! That is using throttle by the way. Third, this bike can go 20 miles per hour so it is freakin fast. I mean i can continue but you get why i put a 5/5 if I could give it an infinite out of 5 I would.

Since I couldn't test ride the bike (first vehicle ever in my 60 years of buying - broke my own rule) I didn't feel the bike's hesitation and then a little bit too much umph with the pedal assist. However, the fellow that showed the bikes on sale was EXCELLENT; patient, informed, helpful and personable. The delivery was good.

LOVE LOVE LOVE My Electric Bike

The best part about riding is letting my hair blow in the wind. Easy to fold, easy to charge up. I was able to obtain the manual from their website which truly helped out concerning what and what not to do. On their website, you can also purchase some cool gadgets like the lock, bigger seat and a basket which I did. You will love it and the price was RIGHT!!!

With our recent age restriction update lowering the minimum age from 18 to 16, the XP might just be the perfect ride for your teen! That said, we always recommend parents take a moment to review the top speeds and specs because while it's built for fun, it might not be the right fit for every rider under 18. Safety first, always!

Motor stopped working after 80 miles
