I gave this 4 stars because the menus are confusing and navigating the objects in the game are clunky! Playing is fun onve you understand the dynamics. You do have to memorize the map for some tasks but once you figure things out the game has navigation signal for most tasks. The instant change in vehicles from water to dirt to street is super cool and the kids realky live it! Also the build your own car feature my son really loves! Otherwise this is a lego racing game for kids 6 and up i would say.

A very good Lego racing game BUT with some cons. Staring off with the Pros: I didn't have a hard time getting into the game but as some parents have stated, your kids might have a hard time. However it is fun, heavy customization with a lot of pieces to choose from but that's of course if you play the Open World story, beat the bosses and unlock their car to which you go to the garage, find the new car you unlocked after winning 1st place and build it yourself to unlock new pieces. Whether that's a pro or a con is up to you, personally that's a bit of a con. I much rather have the new pieces unlocked immediately than have to build the new car to unlock new pieces. Controls, plays like idk any racing game lol. It's not Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled. It's not Mario Kart. Plays like an arcade racing game. Now for the Cons: The heavy monetization and ridiculous Seasonal Pass THAT HAS NO BUSINESS BEING IN A LEGO GAME! Dang, not even Lego games are safe. There are some interesting pieces locked behind the pass which sucks. The customization is a bit wonky, like you want to perfectly place a piece, somehow its in the wrong place but you'll get used to it, eventually. Now Co-op, oh man. I'm glad we got split screen but the thing is, 2nd player can't build their own car, can't use any of the ones I built or downloaded. All they can do is select a driver. Why!? Even Lego Racers, an old PS1 classic, allows 2nd Player to build their own or choose from the ones I unlocked. At least they can join you in the 2K Drive Open World story which helps a lot especially in the mini games. Overall, I'm enjoying the game quite a lot. They dropped the ball on a lot of things from the monetization and split screen was done poorly. Forgot about the price, I say get it for $40. Not worth $70 or beyond that. That's just ridiculous.

The game is pretty fun an interesting take on a Lego racing game and the ability to build your own cars is fun just wish you had more freedom with chassis but other wise a fun game

If you’re a fan of anything LEGO, do yourself a huge favor!! Get this game!! You won’t regret it!! It’s a lot of fun and exciting!!

Best Buy is awful to order online! They messed up my order twice on this 1 item which is a gift. Waiting fur a manger to call me back & the credit to my account. Ridiculous!
