Great overall tablet for the price, has split screen function, battery lasts 8 hrs. It's been able to handle all school and work related tasks as well as movie streaming and light mobile gaming. It's very well built tho I still recommend getting a protective case. Surprisingly for an entry budget tablet it's a great buy and I definitely recommend for someone not looking to spend a lot of money but still get a quality tablet with a great looking screen.

The Lenovo Idea Tab (standard non-pro model) is a good midrange tablet for people who need something to do all of the basics, but don’t necessarily need a heavy duty tablet. I’m trying to use my computer less, and a tablet more, for my daily needs, and the Idea Tab has pretty much all I need to do this with. Setup was pretty standard. It comes with a USB-C charging cable, but no charging plug, so you’ll need to provide that. You enter your Google account and go through the steps, but at one point it did want to install a ton of bloatware apps of varying types, and made me go through three pages of them where I had to say “no” to each one. Eventually however, it was up and running. Make sure and run app updates. Android 15 comes preinstalled and it should get at least a couple of major OS updates and security updates beyond that for a while.
You’ll notice when you first open it how light it is compared to others. It’s solidly built, but not heavy. While it does have an 11 inch screen (diagonally), it just doesn’t look or feel large in the hands. You can hold this for a while without feeling fatigued. The 2.5K screen has a lot of sharp detail at 2560x1600 pixels, and runs at 90Hz so scrolling is smooth. With four speakers (two on each side) the sound is really nice and clear using Dolby Atmos. The 4 gigs of RAM is pretty basic, but enough to do all daily tasks and some minor or midrange games at a decent clip. But beyond that, real heavy duty games might stress the RAM and the Mediatek Dimensity octa-core processor a bit, as I saw some stuttering when I push it hard. You also have two cameras on the tablet; an 8 megapixel rear camera that is so-so ok… good enough for basic photos and documents in good light, but it won’t replace your phone or a dedicated camera by any means. There is a 5 megapixel front facing camera good enough for day-to-day video calls in good light, but in dark light, clarity suffers a good bit as it does on the back camera. The front camera can also be used for facial recognition, or you can use a PIN or draw to log in. The Idea Tab comes with 128 gigs of built-in storage, but there is a micro-SD memory card slot do you can add more if you need it. My particular model says “4G+128 gig” on the back, indicating there must be model variations of this that allow for 4G, but upon looking at the sim tray mine only has room for the SD card if you want.
As with anything these days, there are a variety of AI features on the Idea Tab like circle to search, writing assistance in apps, AI summary to shorten search results, language translation, and more. A Lenovo Tab pen can be used to write on the tablet, but unfortunately it is not included unless you get the bundle. A generic USB-C third party pen also works for mine. I would also suggest investing in a decent case at least as well, as while the tablet is built well, it can scratch fairly easily, or buy the bundle that includes a folio case and the pen. A three-pin connector on the bottom of the Idea Tab allows you to connect to a Lenovo keyboard case if you want to go that route. The Lithium-polymer battery lasts all day with mixed use. I haven’t had any rapid drain issues and while it’s midrange fast on charging, it again also doesn’t drain quickly either. And... there's an audio jack! Yay!
I would say that the strengths of the Idea Tab are it’s really nice screen, the speakers/sound with an audio jack included (!), and it’s ability to do your daily tasks at a very good price compared to a lot of other tablets. It’s weak spot are the cameras, and the pen not being included. The amount of bloatware it tries to install upon setup, and the fact a folder appears that keeps trying to do it after, are irritating. Still, overall it’s a good deal and well worth the price, and I recommend this.

Not the top of the line but perfect for my personal needs and budget friendly for my wallet. Screen is bright, colors crisp and vivid for my senior eyes, plenty of storage and Wi-Fi ready. This Lenovo Tab -11 is functional with decent battery power to finish any task, which is basically browsing and social media interacting.

I wasn’t sure if I was going to like the big screen but it’s fantastic. The coloring on the screen is great. It’s very easy to function and response time is quick. I have other Lenovo products and have many others an I won’t go back to those.

The Lenovo Idea Tab 11-inch for 2025 maintains the design of its predecessors, crafted from aluminum and plastic, giving it a clear mid-range feel.
Inside the box, you'll find the Idea Tab itself, along with documentation and a braided USB-C charging cable—though there's no charging brick included. Removing the tablet from its protective sleeve reveals how lightweight it is. It boasts a 2.5K 90Hz 2560 x 1600 500-nit IPS display, quad stereo speakers, a SIM tray for microSD storage expansion, and a headphone jack.
The tablet is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 MT6835T processor, paired with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It runs on Android 15 with Lenovo's custom UI 17 and comes with support for two major OS upgrades.
Overall, the Idea Tab 11-inch for 2025 is a decent mid-range tablet with a few drawbacks. The audio is underwhelming despite the quad stereo speakers, and Dolby Atmos only provides a slight improvement. Its biggest downside is its lackluster performance due to the low-end processor and limited 4GB of RAM.

The metallic finish with matte grey accents design language of this tablet is pretty sleek. The subtle brand logo adds to the look. It just feels premium in the hands. Coming in at a little over 1lb, it may feel a bit heavy at first, but it’s not a big deal after a while.
The tablet has a USB-C port for charging but sadly no video output. There is a welcomed MicroSD card slot for additional storage space (up to 1TB), and to my surprise and excitement, a 3.5mm headphone/mic jack. There is a 3-point pogo connector on the bottom for connecting an official keyboard, which I am planning to get as soon as I can (available on select models only?). The volume and power buttons are in a good position, and I have not pressed them by mistake when holding the tablet.
Setting up the tablet was not a great experience. There were too many needless options and hoops to jump through. I am used to simply entering my credentials, downloading some updates, and changing a few things. It literally took me an hour, as I also had to uninstall over 25 bloatware apps and games.
The tablet comes with Android 15, with 2 more updates guaranteed and security updates until 2029, so there is plenty of longevity. The MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor and 8GB memory can handle every general task like web surfing, media consumption, productivity, and even some light video editing. However, I did notice some occasional weird stuttering when scrolling or changing apps. Having 90Hz refresh rate, this is strange. Gaming was a bit of a mixed bag. Some AAA games struggled at lower settings while others were smooth -especially older titles. I suppose it may be an optimization issue. The tablet has Wi-Fi 5, which is enough to stream games, but we really need Wi-Fi 6 compatibility nowadays.
The tablet has many more Lenovo specific features such as One Vision and PC Mode. I need the official keyboard/pen option to make full use of it. You can always pair a mouse and keyboard via Bluetooth, though.
The 5MP front and 8MP rear cameras are decent and do their job well when needed. For security, the tablet offers PIN and face sign-in options, which work rather smoothly.
In my personal use, the tablet’s battery can last at least 2 days. That may be about 7-8 hours or so. I typically watch video content and surf the web here and there at full brightness. During a gaming session, the battery lasted about 2 hours and did not overheat.
The audio coming out of the quad-speaker setup is better than expected. As with most tablets, deep bass is lacking, although still has some kick. What is impressive is the clarity and vibrancy the speakers deliver. There is great stereo separation and immersion thanks to Dolby ATMOS. There is always Bluetooth 5.2 and the 3.5mm jack.
Most importantly, the 11” screen is beautiful. At 2560x1600 (2.5K), everything looks clear and vibrant. Even if there is no HDR support, the contrast is great. My only nitpick is that the screen only goes up to 500nits and can be challenging to see in very bright environments. Nevertheless, no matter what I watched, I had a pleasant experience.
While some may consider it to be a “budget” tablet, the screen and performance is anything but, and once past the tedious setup, it rivals some offerings twice the price. I think this is one of the best deals out there.

The Lenovo Idea Tab 11" really surprised me for the price. The 2.5K screen looks super sharp and bright, and the tablet feels light and easy to carry around. It’s great for watching videos, browsing, or doing everyday stuff without any complications.
With 4GB of RAM it’s not meant for heavy multitasking or demanding games, but for normal use it runs smoothly. The 128GB of storage is plenty for apps, photos, and downloads. Battery life has been solid too. Overall, it’s a simple, reliable tablet that does exactly what I need without spending a lot

I’m really impressed with the Lenovo Idea Tab 11". The 2.5K display is honestly the star of the show—colors are vibrant, text is sharp, and it’s perfect for streaming, reading, and everyday browsing. The screen looks like it belongs on a much more expensive tablet.
Performance is surprisingly smooth for a lightweight device. The 4GB RAM and 128GB UFS storage keep things responsive for everyday tasks, and the battery life easily lasts through a full day of mixed use. The Luna Grey finish also gives it a clean, modern look that feels premium in the hand.
For casual entertainment, travel, and productivity apps, this tablet delivers an excellent experience at a great price. Lenovo packed a lot of quality into a compact and affordable device, and it’s an easy recommendation for anyone looking for a sharp, reliable tablet without spending a fortune.

The Lenovo Idea Tab is an interesting piece of tech in 2025. Marketed as a study assistant for students. The basic specs are: screen is 11” LCD IPS display,90Hz screen refresh with 4 GB of RAM, 128GB of SSD space. The RAM does come with an option to expand up to 7GB by taking some SSD space. This tablet is very competitively priced under $200, which to me, makes it stand out from the rest. There are also some tweaks that are implemented into the ONE VISION UI that is over Android.
Performance can be a mixed bag depending on the tasks involved. Now this product is aimed at a college student with the AI push as seen on the box, however they seem to have pinholed the expectations of the user due to the limited amount of RAM included. With 1 or 2 apps open, the tablet performs well enough, but any memory heavy app will have issues. This got me trying to create a profile for my child to take advantage of these apps, but again, the older specs can’t keep up with more than one profile or multiple apps at the same time. This results in choppiness and serious lag. I had these same issues 10 years ago with similar specs. Really makes me wonder why these apps were included in the first place? The battery from my short use with this tablet is very good! Multiple options for maintaining a healthy battery like 20% to 80% use only or just to 80%.
Software that is included are Digital Wellbeing & parental control, Kids space, Lenovo Vantage (which shows warranty and other important info) & One Vision app that gives options for different angels and also drag and drop functionality ability that is similar to how Samsung tablets/phones which is very handy. I also want to point out that Lenovo added the ability to change the UI to a more focused PC set up. I’m not sure how popular this will be, but I appreciate the option either way.
My recommendation for this tablet is for single use only with limited multitasking if you can avoid it. If you want to watch a movie, great. If you want to stream, use a browser, while doing homework, you will have problems. I know they are trying to attract a certain audience, but I feel they went too far in certain aspects.
Positives: 11” IPS screen, battery, sub $200 price
Negatives: 4GB RAM, stuttering & choppy experience with more than 1 app open. Creating more than 1 profile is not recommended.

I loved this tablet so much, I bought THREE - one for myself, my mom, and my dad! The 11" 2.5K display is absolutely stunning with crystal-clear visuals that make everything pop. Whether I'm reading ebooks, planning my week, or taking notes with my stylus, the screen quality is phenomenal.
Performance is incredibly smooth - no lag, no frustration. The 4GB RAM and 128GB storage handle everything I throw at it effortlessly. But the game-changer? PC MODE! This tablet seamlessly transforms into a productivity powerhouse. I'm already using it for reading and planning, and I'm excited to integrate it into my work setup.
The Luna Grey finish is sleek and professional. My parents, who aren't super tech-savvy, found it incredibly intuitive to use. At this price point, the value is unbeatable. If you're on the fence, just get it - you won't regret it. This is the kind of purchase that makes you wonder how you ever lived without it!
Highly recommend for students, professionals, and anyone who wants versatility without breaking the bank!

Good Budget Friendly Tablet For Simple Needs

I think the Lenovo Idea Tab 11 is a fun little tablet that’s hard to beat at its price point, though there are a few drawbacks worth knowing before diving in. I’ll share my overall impressions first, followed by a quick pros and cons list.
Overall Thoughts:
This compact tablet looks great, feels lightweight, and features a vibrant screen. The build quality is solid, the speakers sound surprisingly good for its size, and it runs a pretty vanilla version of Android with access to the Google Play Store and all the usual apps you’re used to. You also get your usual Bluetooth and wireless 2.4GHZ/5GHZ connectivity, along with a headphone jack, which I thought was a very nice inclusion.
That said, if you’re looking for speed or a gaming-ready tablet, this might not be the best fit. With only 4GB of RAM, it can feel sluggish at times, especially when launching apps or playing anything more demanding than a simple game like Balatro. But if you go in with the right expectations, you might find this tablet to be a pretty cool little device.
Long story short, the Idea Tab 11 is a simple tablet, for simple tasks like checking email, online shopping or watching a movie. It’ll excel at that and look great while doing so, but if you want something to edit pictures or do actual work on, please do yourself a favor and get something more robust.
Pros:
Lightweight
Good battery life
Face unlock capability
Solid build quality
Bright, vibrant screen
Cons:
Underwhelming performance
Underwhelming camera
Lenovo software is a bit useless
Some apps cannot be uninstalled
Pen and case not included

I got this Lenovo tablet as an Excellent Open Box while it was also on sale. The size and weight are excellent. Android is new to me, but getting the hang of it. Purchased it over new iPad over the $ savings. Prefer 8 GB of RAM, but it is snappy. It is so thin and lightweight. The 2.5 K display is wonderful. The button location is logical. Storage is great for the price.

The Lenovo 11" Idea Tab is a solid inexpensive tablet. It does everything a casual user needs such as streaming, apps, emails, shopping. Nicely configured with 128GB of memory to enable apps to load and run quickly. At the Cyber Monday price it was unbeatable. This is the perfect tablet for traveling. Load your airline apps and watch streaming media at your hotel.

For the price, it's far superior to alternatives such as the Amazon Fire HD 11 Max. Because it runs Android, you have access to a much larger App Library without having to side load the APKs needed to run Android software. The screen is excellent. While it's not super bright that doesn't matter if you are using it indoors. Battery life could be better -- about 7-8 hours onscreen time -- but it's good enough and then some. All in all, I'm very pleased with my purchase.
