I really like the touch screen that adds an additional way of interacting with the device. The screen has decent brightness and is responsive. The battery life is about average at this level. The processor is quiet and responsive. The laptop is light but feels solid. It is a plastic build and does show fingerprints quite easily. This was a good purchase based on the sales price and replaced my aging Lenovo from 5 years ago. Here's to another 5 years with this one.

Bought it open-box in excellent condition. Came exactly as described. Much faster than my 10 year old laptop. Great price, large screen, and touch screen. It's also nice that you can swap to a larger SSD. The battery life is also good and the laptop is light in weight

I picked up the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 looking for a budget-friendly laptop for everyday tasks like web browsing, emails, and streaming videos. For the price, it's an excellent purchase—the speed is great, the touchscreen is a very convenient feature, and the screen quality is bright and clear. It's lightweight and thin, so it's easy to carry around. However, the biggest drawback is the memory. The 8GB of RAM is soldered to the motherboard, which means it can't be upgraded. While 8GB is fine for basic multitasking right now, I know it's a limitation for future-proofing. As software and apps become more demanding, the non-upgradable RAM could become a bottleneck and slow the system down. So, if you're a student or casual user on a budget, this is a fantastic value. But if you think you'll need more power down the line, keep in mind that you're stuck with what you get

I bought this for my Business partner, I used it for about two weeks myself and feel like getting myself one. If you need an easy using laptop you can take with you anywhere, you really should get this. Runs smooth, speeds are great, Touch screen works amazingly. The best feature that most users would want is the Battery Life is soo long lasting. I have an Alienware and it wont last me more than 2 hours, this though has lasted me days on the battery alone. Will be getting myself one soon too.

My son is in 8th grade and needed his own laptop for his private school. The tech guy at Best Buy was amazing! He recommended this laptop and it's perfect! It's faster than the HP's we were looking at and way less expensive. My son loves how light it is and the larger screen. The touch screen makes his school day easier. I have a Lenovo IdeaPad 3 that I purchased several years ago that is my go to computer. I needed to replace my older Sony laptop that we keep in the gameroom. Of course I chose another Lenovo because it's compact, practical and easy to use. This is a IdeaPad 1 but is more than adequate for my needs. The team member at my Best Buy assured me this Lenovo would fit my needs and it surely does. The screen is the perfect size for us; it's lightweight so easily portable. I love that it's touchscreen even though usually use a mouse. We're very low tech and older and I would recommend this Lenovo for my fellow seniors.

Note: this review comes after about a month of light use. The machine itself is light and streamlined, which is just what you need for a work laptop. The lack of a CD/DVD drive, while inconvenient for some, definitely keeps the weight down, with a lightness comparable to a Macbook Air, though is ultimately a superior machine. The display seems to be high-quality, and the touch screen is especially useful for people working in graphic design. The keyboard has a nice feel to it, although the trackpad isn't the best I've worked with, so you might want to get a separate mouse for it. Probably the worst part about this laptop so far is that it has Windows 11 for an operating system (so much bloatware!), but, that's better than a Mac OS, and you always have the option to swap out the OS for Ubuntu or something else open-source, or even just Windows 10 if you like that better and can get your hands on it. All in all, this laptop is a good price for the capabilities it has.

I needed a new computer for college and this ended up being the perfect choice. I'm not the best at picking out a good laptop from the bunch so my brother looked and found this one. I ended up getting it and it's been super amazing. I first off love touch screen devices so that was an amazing edition when I found out. It's super easy to use and I can even play games on it when I'm not doing school work. Overall, performance is wonderful. It's fast and processes everything super well. I haven't had any technical issues with it and I've had it a little over a month now.

I got this laptop as a surprise gift for my daughter. She needed it for her work and hers suddenly displayed that dreaded blue screen. She is in love with it because it has a long battery life, light weight, touchscreen feature and plenty of space for her spreadsheets. She is so happy for this and says so quite often. This Lenovo laptop truly exceeded my expectations! It’s slim, lightweight, and incredibly fast to boot up, with smooth overall performance. It comes with lifetime free office software and built-in AI tools, which are both practical and cutting-edge — super cool! The only concern is that the charger gets quite warm, but after a full day of use, there have been no issues, so I hope it’s just normal heat. Overall, I’m very satisfied and would definitely recommend it!

So far the speed, response time and display are all great for the price point. It work well for school, and document keeping. Although the storage isn't that great it makes up for it with its capabilty of expanding the storage and using clouds. Also the battery life is great. I use it for hours to write listen to music and watch research videos without it dying.

I am very happy with my decision to get the Lenovo Idea Pad Laptop with touch screen. It has fast processing speeds, it is easy to navigate, and super user friendly. I am using it for college classes and it's perfect! For the price, I think I couldn't have found a better deal out there. After using it for awhile, I can definitely say I would buy it again. I saved money and got a great product!
