I bought this labtop at the last black Friday, its features good are highly matching the price, the most important feature that i like in it the light weight, the only proplem i have faced is the battery duration however it is a good economical choice suitable with my needs.

I absolutely love my laptop I love the keyboard it reminds me of a desktop keyboard so it is easy to type keystrokes. The main reason I had never purchased a laptop because I hated the keyboards on laptops. Also the speed is great I can complete multiple tasks it has decent picture quality but just not 4k of course for a better quality picture you have to spend more money. I am so stingy and kept contemplating during black friday week if I should purchase but I realized I was making an investment because I am starting a new career and a laptop is needed in this profession. Also I love the silver stainless steel color. I also needed a computer that is Microsoft based not Chrome for my career. So please be mindful for your career or school if this computer meets the specifications required for your needs. Take the risk its worth every penny.

omg, i've been waiting for so long for an awesome laptop to test in-store before I buy it. I'm tired of amazon returns and gambling online. I just want a good laptop, that is cheap-affordable. This is it. IPS Screen (no tn therefore bad viewing angles) fast, top speed for web browsing just me testing it youtube email social media good brand, good keyboard, solid build quality (not stress testing, just being sensible and have experience with being ripped off) I know I don't want the *touch-screen there is a touch screen model, no way, not for me. I'm very used to and accustom to PC. got it for 300 on sale, 322 after tax. what a steal. Thank the Lord of Best Buy

This laptop is not my "main" laptop that I use. I got this to browse the internet, check emails and for light streaming while I use my other (much more expensive) laptop for work. This laptop does exactly what I needed it to. Every 2 years for the past 10 years, I've purchased a laptop that cost over $1,500 for work so I was a little skeptical buying this one since I didn't know how the performance would compare. I was pleasantly surprised that the performance felt the same as my expensive laptop. Disabling the Windows S mode was just a minor inconvenience. I love that it has a SSD and the keyboard is comfortable. I prefer touch screens, but that's something I can live without for all the money I'm saving. One thing this laptop has that my expensive work laptop doesn't have: USB-A ports!

Bought this laptop 3 days ago as an early black Friday deal for $300. I looked at laptops 3X the price, and I'm glad to say that I'm glad that I bought this Lenovo. It checked almost all the boxes of what I wanted in a laptop. I3 processor, check, SSD, check, 8GB RAM, check, 1080p screen, check. Ive been looking for a little over a month for a laptop, and at $300 I doubt you will find anything like it. Its performance is surprising quick for anything ive thrown at it. My only real complaints are I wish it had a Backlit keyboard, and I wish it had a quicker way to sign in(finger print scanner). I get that for 300 dollars it's hard to complain about those 2 things. but I highly recommend this laptop at this price. Ive always bought Asus, but am a fan on Lenovo now, they did a great job with this laptop!!

I read the reviews and given the holiday sale for $299.99, the value can't be beat. Trust me, I've looked extensively for online pre-Black Friday deals and this one takes the cake if you're looking for a non-chromebook laptop at a value. I trust the Lenovo brand and I've had a different upscale version (Yoga touchscreen 2-in-1) since 2017 that hasn't let me down. So anyhow, I bought 3 of these babies, 2 for me to replace my other two mainstays and 1 for my mother who badly needed a computer upgrade. I might buy some more to up-selling after the holidays but that's not really my forte. They have RAM expandable to 12 GB which I have done for each of my 3 of these. I didn't purchase the extended warranty because I trust Lenovo. The only downsides are no touch screen, which doesn't really bother me, and no USB-C port(s), which again doesn't bother me terribly. But if you can live without those, do yourself the favor of purchasing this great machine at a great price. Even at the regular price it's a decent deal, but at $299.99, I haven't found anything that can beat it so far.

Thank you for choosing the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15 Laptops, model number 81WE011UUS. Please note, This model is not user upgradable. A certified technician must do all of the work, so as to not void the warranty. There is 4GB of RAM soldered to the motherboard and another 4GB in the one available RAM memory slot within this configuration. Your certified technician can replace the existing 4GB RAM stick within the RAM memory slot and replace it with an 8GB DDR4-2666MHz RAM stick for a system total of 12GB DDR4-2666MHz RAM. We recommend you consult your certified technician about your memory upgrade options. Lenovo

If you're stuck between choosing an affordable, yet good quality laptop, look no further because this is it! Not only is it cheaper, it offers more storage than a $700 laptop plus has great speed. If you're like me (a broke college student), you've probably done your share of laptop shopping. I was stuck between three: one from Apple and another from Microsoft, both being higher priced, yet smaller in space and physically. Out of all the laptops I've seen, this one convinced me most especially when the price tag went down to $300 (which seems to commonly drop down so DON'T BUY FULL PRICE). The only issue I have is the battery, which is a common issue among laptops, but still. It goes down pretty fast! Overall, solid laptop for the price especially if you need one immediately.

Hi Thanks for choosing the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15" Laptop model # 81WE011UUS. The IdeaPad 3 is rated for up to 7.5 hours of battery life. If you are getting substantially less battery life, please adjust your screen brightness settings. A setting of 100% brightness will drain your battery much faster than a lower setting. We recommend setting the screen brightness to some value below 100% that is still comfortable for you to view. Next be sure Battery conservation Mode is turned off. This power management setting should only be used when the laptop is plugged in all the time. It will prolong overall battery life by only charging the battery to 60-percent of capacity. Here is a link to instructions for turning off Battery Conservation Mode: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/solutions/ht103159. Also check what programs are running in the background on the computer. Be sure only the programs you want running in the background are. These programs will drain the battery. Here is a link to information about how to find out what programs are running in the background on your Windows 10 computer and how to manage them for better system performance: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-prevent-apps-running-background-windows-10. Then, finally, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. Incompatible software will drain the battery at a faster rate. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686. Lenovo

Make sure you get this for $299. It has a tendency to fluctuate between $299 and $449. You can not find a better deal in a laptop for $299. It's fast for everyday web surfing, netflix etc. Has a 256ssd and 8g of ram. Like I said you will not find these specs for a matching or better price. It is even full HD which I wouldn't go any lower in resolution. This is good for a student and a casual user. This would be good for work as well. It is not a games machine. If you want one, you have to pay more. Only downside to this laptop is poor battery life. It averages 2 to 3 hours depending on the tasks. You can make adjustments to try to get an extended amount of time. I do like this laptop and I'm very satisfied with the purchase.

First! I am using the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 (i3) to type this review :-). This is a great laptop especially for the price ($299), it is very sleek looking, I love the metallic grey finish and it is extremely light weight, especially for the size (15"). It is pretty fast and the key board is very easy to use and I don't even miss using a mouse. I'm just a few weeks in, and I already enjoy using this laptop; to browse, type, research and listen music. Another strong point is, the laptop doesn't feel hot even after hours of usage, which is very good. This is a good buy for anyone who is seeking a budget friendly laptop with good quality.

I got this on sale with a discount here for $284 or so. This is what a laptop should be about. It's the best, fastest laptop I have ever owned. The speed competes with my m.2 boot time in my pc build. I use this laptop strictly for learning code right now. It's 4 threads are great, around 3.2 ghz, it's all you really need. 2 cores and 4 threads is enough folks. I only dislike the mouse pad style, but maybe that's due to popular demand.. Storage should be fine, so I plan keeping this for many years, I use clouds for storage anyway. Have used it with another monitor to the side, worked fine (only with Citrix one night).

This is a quick and cheap laptop. At $299 it is price alongside Chromebooks, but it is powered by Windows 10. I didn't have high expectations on speed because of the initial spec, but this laptop is fast. It boots quickly and loads programs well. A tiny bit of bloatware was loaded, but all were easy to remove (except McAfee). It appears upgradable in memory and harddrive space. It has a M.2 drive and a place for a 2.5 drive. Only 1 SO-DIMM, but you can put in 8 GB of RAM and it has 4 GB soldered onto the motherboard. The i3 processor is faster than I was expecting and so far very happy with my purchase!

I'm pleased with the performance of the Lenovo IdeaPad, it's fast and the only cons is a light green tint of the display and the battery only lasts 5-6 hours but for 299 I can live with that and it's only on some images, don't know why. I love the keyboard compared to the others I have tried. I had bought an HP for 425 but hated the keyboard. It was silver and the letters and numbers were hard to see, especially in a low light area. I played with both laptops and ended up returning the HP and keeping the Lenovo. So far I am really happy with it and the keyboard is great and very responsive.

I bought this because the Chromebook I had bought for college was just not suitable. It would be nice knowing ahead of time that Chromebooks do not have the same MS Office functions as a regular laptop. So far this Lenovo has been awesome. It's fast and has everything I need. My only complaint would be battery life. This thing dies really quickly no matter how little or often you use it. Other than that, it is perfect and I highly recommend it if you're enrolled in college classes!

I bought it b/c the price was right for the specs. I am a fan of Lenovo products. It has a plastic bottom but a nice metal brushed look on top, which actually makes it quite light. Specs are more than sufficient for average user- internet browsing, watching movies, MS Office, zoom mtgs. The camera is a bit grainy for zoom but not terrible with good lighting. Pretty fast booting up. I usually have several web pages, email, word docs, and Spotify open at the same time and this laptop never falters. Battery definitely lasts all day for me but I only use it for a few hours a day. This is the only laptop I own that is NOT a touchscreen and doesn't have a 360° screen.

Thank you for choosing the lenovo IdeaPad 3 15 Laptop, model number 81WE011UUS. This model ships with a 720p (HD) webcam with manual Privacy Shutter and Dual Array Microphones built in. The image the camera broadcasts should be crystal clear. If yours is not, be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10 on the computer. Then update all of the BIOS files and drivers up to that latest version of Windows 10. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If the issue still continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help. Lenovo

Bought this laptop at a great price to replace an old one. So far so good. It’s fast and easy to use. Very simple to set up. Good clear screen resolution. I did remove the S mode of Windows 10. Found it was too restrictive. Easy to remove it. We don’t use the laptop for gaming or movies so this will be adequate for our needs. The keyboard has a good feel to it. The battery life is long. Laptop is lightweight and easy to carry around.
