He chose this one and I'm so happy he did! It's super lightweight and easy to carry around in a case. I wanted to wait a few weeks to write this review so I could really get a feel for the product. I'm not super techie, I just needed a basic lap top for school work and this meets all my needs. The quality is great and I haven't had any issues thus far.

Since it is touchscreen my child is able to navigate to everything that is needed. So far it has been a great computer. It boots up and loads sites quickly. It would be nice if the resolution on the screen was better. The webex meetings aren't as clear as I had hoped.

For the best webcam experience, be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10 on the computer, then update all of the BIOS files and drivers, including those for the webcam, up to that latest version of Windows 10. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If the issue still continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help.

It's fast and easy. The camera is pretty low quality, but it's fine for online school, which was the primary reason we got it. My kid loves the touch screen. The battery is the biggest disappointment - even after changing a lot of the settings to conserve power, it doesn't last on a charge for more than 3 hours or so even though it's brand new.

I don't care much about CPU's speed since most of my jobs don't have high demand on that; it has been in service for me more than one month and I feel satisfied with this purchase. I strongly recommend it to anyone considering purchase of new laptop if you can have it with on sale price. For sure this PC is not of top performance.

Terrific backup to desktop PC

It is very fast and has more than enough storage for my needs: I use it primarily as a backup to my desktop PC. I take a lot of photographs so I load them onto his laptop quickly and easily. I can also backup Quicken from our PC and restore it to the laptop. I can very quickly check and reply to email. Getting into social media is also fast and efficient and my data is secure.

I was unhappy with that because I missed having a touch screen and saw this model for a few dollars more. I went ahead and pulled the trigger and bought this one and returned the other model. I must say I’m much more happier with this laptop and it does everything I need to do from online poker to watching videos.

Having now owned it for almost 2 months, my kids have not made any complaints and seem to have no issues with this in their classes. Overall we're very happy with this purchase and glad we settled on the other option about $100 cheaper but with less positive reviews.

I would say this is the best computer for the money....love Lenovo over Dell, HP, etc... If you want a really good computer and get the most bang for your buck, then this is for you!

Since it comes with windows 10 s everything will need to be done using the edge browser. The only apps you can install are what’s in the Microsoft store unless you convert to the full version of Windows 10 which is free. Once you convert they say you cannot go back to windows 10 s and the system could slow down using the full version.

I did. i had to wait a week to drop it off. It only took a few minutes to write it up. this kind of service will cost you sales and customers. T he 9/8 date was the 2nd time bringing it back because it was not completely installed. The store manager did a great job and solved my problem.
