It was a little difficult to set-up. If you are wanting to do more advanced things, I would not recommend this laptop. But for general use like Word, email, social media, it’s a good one.

It doesn't have a lot of RAM so anything that will require more advanced graphics or streaming might suffer. But for an entry level laptop used for basic stuff, this works very well.

However, it is slow-ish even with basic office programs. To take full advantage you need to upgrade RAM by adding 16 GB card (+$60), SSD is extra icing on the cake.

With all the projects and research we did, we filled up the memory. Purchased this model for its larger hard drive but we got so much more than just more space. The pc is faster and the transition of all previous work was a breeze. The included software took care of that. No work lost and lots of space to continue studying. Currently using it to get through sophomore year in university. For us the battery life is sufficient (no gaming). Great laptop. Really suits our needs without going broke or financing something for longer than the item will be useful.

Don't have a warranty issue or it's an on you shipment to Tennessee. Don't like that no arrangement with Geek Squad is available. Not worth the extra cost for simple warranty work.

I do a ton of writing and searching the internet and it works fine I haven’t tried to edit video/film on it yet. But for everything that I use it for it works fine. Now if you are a gamer which I am not this is not the laptop for you..lol

Love the separate number pad. It is not for the power user, but great for me. My only complaint is that the charging portal should be on the back of the laptop instead of the side. Somewhat inconvenient for use in the lap.

There are hundreds for free instructional videos there about Windows 10. Just type Windows 10 Introduction in to the YouTube search window. You can watch free videos there that will show you the basics all the way up to tips and tricks videos and they're all free.
