I got this computer before I had to work from home. It was slow but I only needed it for web browsing and sometimes Netflix and storing my personal files, mostly pictures. For that it worked. Since having to work from home I noticed how incredibly slow it is and I've removed all but a couple of programs I need-Word, Excell, web browser. I found out it's the hard drive type that's making it so slow. The power cord failed in one year time and I had to get a replacement. It's fine for basics but trying to switch between web and spreadsheet for accounting and doing Telehealth Zoom meetings, it is too slow. I have since purchased a laptop with an SSD hard drive and more Ram.

The Lenovo IdeaPad S145-15 ships with Windows 10 S-Mode Operating System. Windows 10 S-Mode provides added security by only allowing APPs available ( and therefore certified by Microsoft) at the Microsoft Store. If you don't need the added security or you need to install APPs not available at the Microsoft Store, you can switch to standard Windows 10 Home 64-bit Operating System, at no additional cost.

This is a great value for the dollar. No disc drive but in the world of download it’s really not necessary and adds weight.
Bought one and the value was unbeatable so I got a second one

I purchased the laptop for my child's homeschool.
It is very durable, and has a nice screen definition.
It was a good price and cheaper than the other lap tops.
I had previously purchased a Lenova and was happy with the product.

I bought it because of the price. I needed it for a class I was teaching. I was gonna sell after class was over. But, I kept it and I been using it every since. It’s windows and it hasn’t crashed yet. I’m impressed.

I also have a surface pro and outside of the graphics it feels like it can hang with the much higher priced item. The 4GB may not be desirable but if your purposes don’t call for a bunch of memory, it’d take a long look at a Lenovo.

I really enjoy having the numerical keyboard, it makes it so much easier. I did not have it on my old notebook, it made financial tasks difficult. The monitor is just the right size, not too small or overwhelmingly large. This is my first experience with Windows 10, and it hasn't been too bad! I ran on Windows 7 Home for 7 years. You know what they say about old dogs and new tricks. The price was right for my use and I would recommend it to anyone who just needs basic computer needs.

There are hundreds for free instructional videos there about Windows 10. Just type Windows 10 Introduction in to the YouTube search window. It does everything my young daughter needs! She is a tech kid plus loves art/drawling as well.
She does both on her laptop! But still loves to sketch on paper as well
No bad for the prices and does what my kid wanted in a laptop

If you want a nice inexpensive computer for a person who doesn't need to do anything extensive this is the machine for you. Probably will be getting another for my son.

The think its great for quick work anything that's labor intensive or tedious such as Photoshop will require an extended memory and will make the computer move slow. I have no apps on my laptop and certain things will make it run slow depending on the graphics. However I don't have any issues with my my PC and use Excel, Word and Outlook primarily and only for my business and it works fine especially for the price.
