Once we log in GRAY SCREEN. We had never used Windows 10 and thought maybe it was us. So after restarting for about half an hour it finally comes up. After fooling around with this piece of crap for 6 weeks and determining it was nothing we were doing I finally called today. Unless you want to try and decipher what they call English in the Philippines don't bother making the call. AND you MUST RETURN ITEMS WITHIN 15 DAYS! What kinda bull is that? We will NEVER buy from Best Buy again. Have been buying from them since the 90s. BYE FELICIA!

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with the Windows 10 operating system on your Lenovo IdeaPad S145-15 laptop. First, keep in mind, this model ships with Windows 10 S-Mode 64-bit Operating System. Windows 10 S-Mode provides added security by only allowing APPs available ( and therefore certified by Microsoft) at the Microsoft Store. If you don't need the added security or you need to install APPs not available at the Microsoft Store, you can switch to standard Windows 10 Home 64-bit Operating System, at no additional cost. Resetting the computer back to original factory settings may correct the problem and allow Windows 10 to update properly. This system is equipped with OneKey Recovery System. There is a very small pin hole on the right side of the device, right near the headphone jack on the device. You will need a pin to push this reset button. Plug the device in. Let the battery charge for about 15 minutes. Push the reset button. The system should boot to a choice screen where you can choose "Restore To Factory Default". Select this. It will delete everything from the hard drive except the original factory install of the operating system. You will need to reinstall all programs and files after the reset. If you don't have copies of the files, try to make one before you restore by selecting "Boot to desktop" and trying to back up your files. If the problem persists after the factory reset, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.

I opened the laptop for the first time and they did not wipe the laptop of the first owner, so I was LOCKED OUT of the laptop!!! When we finally got that fixed the mousepad didn’t work and it still doesn’t work correctly. Just recently I opened to type notes, and let me remind u this had been sitting at my house, and the screen was glitching. The employees at the store didn’t have any knowledge of what they were handing me or about tech in general.

Started using it more recently and when I do its extremely slow and i hear the hard drive clicking. I would think it should not have issues when it barely gets used.
