Thank you for choosing the Lenovo IdeaPad S145-15 laptop for your business. We are pleased to hear that the value and performance of the IdeaPad S145-15 meets your business computing needs so well. This is an entry level, light use system with its Intel Pentium processor. It is not meant for multi-tasking or demanding programs. It is good for Microsoft Office and light internet browsing. The salespeople were very helpful. The Lenova laptop I purchased is very helpful for my needs as a handicapped person with limited vision. I also needed this laptop to download the Dexcom CGM to send to my physicians and alert my family and neighbors if I need emergency medical assistance. The Geek Squad assistance has also been extremely helpful

Loved the price on this - we were stretched thin, so we had to go cheap. And, well, you really do get what you pay for. The laptop works, but snails also move. They just both go slowly. Unfortunately, I don’t have 2 minutes to wait between web browser tabs opening. And up to five minutes for WORD to open is the worst. But, if you can be patient, this device will work for you. And sometimes it will even work well.

The Lenovo IdeaPad S145-15 will boot from off to the Windows 10 desktop in less than 40-seconds. It will open a file/program in less than 20-seconds. If you are experiencing slower boot times and file/program access times, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programing errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.

I have had this laptop for a month now without any issue.
I like the feeling that when you carry it in your hands, it feels solid, not flimsy.
Sometimes it runs a little slow, but I think it is because of Windows and all of its constant updates.

This computer was purchased as a gift for someone. THat have very pleased with it so far. At the time it was a very good price value as compared to other laptop choices. I was a much better value then a chrome note book. Most of us need to use our laptops offline or remotely.

This is my first laptop I have bought and I think this is a good brand considering it is very affordable too. I do mostly surfing so I have not had the need for much memory so far. I like it tells you exactly how much time you have left on your battery. Good laptop.

This is a good entry level laptop. It's good for emailing, word processing and online exploring. It only has 4 GB of RAM so I upgraded to 8 GB and it makes a difference. It does not have an optical drive, but getting an external drive, if you need one is not that expensive. All in all a good machine.

I bought this pc for my wife to use with her Crichton’s so did not need a high end pc. This laptop fit the bill. Great screen size and a large hard drive were a plus.
Only negatives were there is no disk drive which is expected and it came with Windows S10? So I had to install the regular Windows 10 which was free to switch to.
Overall I am very pleased with my purchase.
