We've only been using this for a few days as school ramps up and I really can't find any complaints. It moves quickly and is very responsive. There are cheaper options but my initial reaction was to recommend to two others to buy the same one-- and they did and are happy, too.

This Chromebook is fast, smooth, and super easy to set up and use. It's highly reliable. My only gripe is actually more with Chrome OS than the Chromebook itself. I like to have multiple chrome profiles open at once - one for work, one for personal, each with their own set of saved bookmarks. That is not possible on a Chromebook apparently - instead I'd have to sign out of the entire OS and login under a separate chrome profiles, is open and run the other in incognito mode, which means I do not get the saved bookmarks associated with the other profile. Why this option in Chrome is available in windows but not in the Chrome OS is beyond me, and apparently the hundreds of other people that have the same issue with Chromebooks. One would think Google would do something about this, but apparently not. So if you're using this chromebook for a single profile, it is fantastic for the value. If however you want to use multiple profiles, be sure to get a windows laptop and not a Chromebook.

Although I use a variety of OSes, I like Chromebooks because of their integration with the Google ecosystem, which compared to Apple's and Microsoft's similar systems (cloud storage, online apps) is much more open and less pushy into using their offerings. (Google apps also work well in the other OSes I use.) I don't generally need a lot of local performance in my machines (I never do gaming), but I find that the online developer culture is insensitive to people such as myself and developers seem think nothing of pushing page rendering into the local browser when the processing power on the server could much more readily render the page and just serve the page, and not gobs of JavaScript to fill in the DOM. The Stripe credit card company software is notoriously slow for example. It will sometimes take 10-15 seconds just to load one page, and when I have to continuously reload pages this slows down my productivity tremendously. I had a very low-cost Chromebook made by HP, which is basically of the performance and size that elementary school students use, but using it productively was getting to be very frustrating. One issue with the Chromebook offerings is that generally speaking you only get decent performance with devices that have large screen size. Typically I use all my laptops plugged into a large monitor -- have one at home and one at work -- but for portability I don't want a large size native screen. This Lenovo offers really good performance yet still remains not too physically large. I was also able to get it at a great price during Best Buy's July sale. I feel like I got a great bargain.

Upon my retirement I needed a laptop. Having used company equipment for 32 years I was hesitant to buy a laptop as I was not generally comfortable on these types of units. I was always a desktop guy. After working my way through getting started, I am extremely satisfied with this computer. It's not the largest or most expensive laptop however it's fully capable of handling my needs. The associate who helped me was informative, knowledgeable and understanding of my limited familiarity with laptops. He definitely understood my needs.

Very easy to use and I like the brightness of it. I just play games on it and they have been very fast to use.

This product has had 0 issues, system is fully functioning and amazing for a work laptop. I looked specifically for this higher spec and it’s amazing and we are super thrilled with the performance.

I had a Chromebook which needed to be updated, little to my surprise I had to kiss it good bye . They tried to restore it and upgrade it. Nope not happening. I purchased a brand new Chromebook Lenovo Ideapad slim 3, touchscreen within my budget. I love the features, the keybroad lights up, touchscreen. I like that it gives you a full screen view, to me the screen is smudge proof. Im glad i made this purchase.

Perfectly smooth transaction. The Chromebook from Lenovo couldn't be better. It is faster then expected with a screen that is easy on the eyes. The back lighted keyboard was an unexpected surprise and very much appreciated. Battery life is long enough to last all working day. I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase.

I initially was hesitant purchasing this Lenova Chromebook only because I was not familiar with the Chrome OS since I have only used Microsoft Office products in the past. I am very pleased to say it meets all my expectations. The only downside I have encountered so far is many of my web pages do not work with Microsoft Edge anymore. Not a big deal, Google Chrome works for all of them.

Overall its pretty good, doesnt have traditional windows due to it being a chromebook but it makes up for it

This was a great purchase for my nonprofit and I am on the lookout for more when they go on sale again. These chromebooks support students struggling in math and ELA through our nonprofit.

I've only had my Chromebook for a few weeks, so I'm still learning the many things I can do with it.

For the price, excellent purchase but if you have higher resolution phone and tablets then the text on the screen will appear blurry.
