Best bargain for a great basic chromebook

Also the battery life lasts me for better than a full days use and charging is very quick.

The model on dispay in the store was the touch screen with the IPS, but I was sold this model without the touch screen and the TN display. The colors were very washed out and Chrome OS does not offer any way to fix this. As a result, constant staring at the cool tone of this display caused some eye fatigue. At this price, it's probably better to pay for a better Chromebook. I returned this and probably won't buy another Chromebook unless the correct model is on display because a lot of these have cheap screens. This had a nice strong build, good speakers, nice color, and excellent keyboard. It just sucks that the part you'd be staring at the most hours was the worst part of the experience. It also was a little on the heavy side. We need more 13.2 in chromebooks.

The IdeaPad Slim 3 Chromebook comes in two configurations, one of which uses the TN panel that does not support touchscreen, we understand how upsetting it is to receive the wrong product, we sincerely apologize for any confusion and disappointment that arose from your purchase. We strive to ensure excellent user experience with all our products and are sad to hear that we missed the mark, there are a few tips that we can offer regarding the cool tone of the display.
Chromebooks have an integrated Night Light which allows users to adjust the color temperature of the display. To start, open the Settings app and select the “Device” tab on the left-hand menu, choose “Displays”, then select “Night Light”. From there you can adjust the display to your preference using the “Color temperature” slider.
We hope you choose our products again in the future and please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.

I like how the writing on the keyboard is white so it's much easier to see in the dark. I picked it up for $129 on a deal of the day in early August. I Highly recommend it. Thanks to Best Buy!

Perfect for children

They can navigate the device well, it holds a good charge, and the volume is not too loud but goods enough for their use.

satisfactory cool little machine

I had wished for the Lenovo typical keys and it does not have those and of course it was supposed to be touchscreen but it’s not. the distinct models with and without the touchscreen are too similar and confusing I suppose, and my attention when online shopping may be the culprit with so many choices and options. it’s an OK machine for the task of accessing Google docs. it actually types well and it is not as slow as the numbers would otherwise suggest. has a bit of a plastiky feel, of course, but the blue compensates for looks. it’s satisfactory. as with the ad long ago for chromebooks it won’t bother you too much if something happened to it. your files are secure.

The only thing I haven’t figured out is how to enable the touch screen. It’s not working on my end and there are basically no instructions on how to do it.
