I've been looking for a budget gaming laptop right before Black Friday, there's just so many to choose from! My budget was 600-800 but even in this range you've got a lot of options. Pros: * Price - I've got this during Black Friday so it was 300 bucks off. Can't beat this! * Graphics card - Not many (in this price range) comes with RTX 4060 * Memory - Already comes with 16GB that's a plus. * Additional m.2 slot - Score! For additional storage space * Upgradeable - easy to swap new m.2 or memory should you decide to upgrade * Built-in Ethernet - not that I use this a lot but it's the thought that counts! * Speed - it's fairly fast for the $$$, memory and disk could improve the score even higher. Check passmark scores for details Cons * Battery - Plenty of people pointed this out, this battery is horrible! Rated at 3789mAh * Memory - Not the fastest at 4800 MT/s * Disk - Not complaining about 512GB size but the speed is below average at best. It's a Micron 2400 m.2 gen4 actual read speed is up to 4,200 MB/s with write speed up to 1,800 MB/s * Single USB-c port - Seriously, really?? A hub is a must! * Bulky power supply - Typical but you can get a smaller / lightweight 100W USB-c charger from Anker for 24 bucks. I use this when traveling. * Weight - yes this thing is heavy! * Fan Noise - Oh boy, if you're gaming hard the fans will kick in high gear (along with the noise) Wrap-up - I'm happy with the purchase, it's not the perfect laptop but what is. Yes battery is an issue if you're traveling, just make sure you're close to an outlet and you're good! If you can get this during a sale, go for it!

I bought the laptop for work not gaming. Basically I wanted it for specs. Easily customizable. I upgraded to 32gb of ram and I added 1tb SSD. I also switched os to the 1tb SSD . Laptop is fast and works perfectly for my uses. Great for multi tasking. I don't intend to play games but it's highly rated amongst gaming PC's even outperforming more expensive brands in some categories. I am also now going to stick with Lenovo as I am impressed. Other reviews mentioned battery life, noise, graphics etc. but this is fine for me as I keep it plugged in mostly. Love the placement of power cord and other peripherals, out of the way. For the price and specs I have no complaints, hence 5 stars. Love it

Likely the best bang for your buck value if you want to play modern titles (Marvel Rivals, Horizon Zero Dawn) for a reasonably portable and reasonably cool device. I’ve had this for a few months now and I’ve yet to run into any major issues. Here are some of my favorite features: Design - sleek, matte gray finish, matte display, screen size, rear ports - This laptop delivers on gaming performance while still appearing work-friendly. My favorite, FAVORITE thing ended up being the matte finish. My last laptop was a black ASUS and that drove me nuts! This will look cleaner and likely last longer. As an added bonus that some may prefer, most of the essential ports are on the back—so for example, your charger won’t hang off the side and get in the way of the keyboard (unless you’re charging thru USB C). Function - USB C charging, upgradeable - It is especially convenient to have one cable for most of my devices, and this feature seems to be uncommon on gaming laptops. Also, easy future proofing is included! You can upgrade the RAM slots and there is an additional empty SSD slot. Minor Drawbacks… considering price to performance, my personal gripes may not bother you: Design - No left-facing ports? Still hefty, no smaller options - 5 pounds is decent, but the aluminum Legion somehow manages a pound less. And this is more of a pipe dream than a gripe with this model—but I would love an LOQ designed in the same vein as the Legion Slim! 14.5in is especially a great screen size for balancing portability and visibility. But it’s hard to argue with the standard 15.6in of this LOQ. My confusion with the design is that for whatever reason, all available ports are on the back.. and then a few are scattered only on the right side. I feel that one more USB C on the left would have been perfect! Function - Battery Life, just falls short in number of ports - Regarding battery life, that is just an unfortunate side effect to gaming laptops, but this one runs low especially quick! Always keep a charger nearby. Overall, I do still love this laptop, and expect to use it for years to come. This has a great design and although it’s not necessarily cheap, it is a really good price for a powerful gaming laptop!

It literally plays all game at high setting if not at the highest. I wish the storage was bigger, because 512gb is not enough to hold even 5-6 games. 1TB would have made this laptop perfect. 16gb ram is enough to handle all games and Ryzen7 7435hs is also fast enough. In overall I recommend this laptop

I love this laptop overall for the price I paid, the HHHYZEN 7 is decently quick and has 8 cores, and the RTX 4060 gravis card plays any game at high settings 1080p and they look great and decently smooth. Love the build quality too nice solidly built. Downsides to this are it's quite heavy for a 15 inch laptop, probably heaviest ive seen since like 2005 lol. The battery life is a joke, it will last you 1.5 hours watching videos and it only coming with 500 gb SSD and making you take the entire backplate off to add another one is kinda wack.

I bought this laptop a little less than a year ago for my daughter and it’s been great. It’s a solid starter gaming laptop and can run every game. My daughter plays Fortnite and it runs great. My only complaint is that it doesn’t have back light keys but not a big issue. I would highly recommend for the price point.

Reliable laptop. Runs very well on games like apex and the finals, while also be a great laptop for music production and 3D designing. Display is acceptable in my opinion, and I had no issues with it. Hardware is excellent and is capable of overclocking, though it can get a bit loud. Only real negative is the battery life, which is predictably short. I never had too much of an issue with it since I always keep it on the charger, but if your looking to use this as a travel laptop, it might be best to look elsewhere.

This is an amazing gaming laptop The cpu and gpu offer plenty of power to run current games the laptop is a good purchase if your looking for a good price for performance The one downside is the battery life unplugged is very limited but if your plugged into power there is no issues running any games

Good laptop with very good performance, but very low battery life, problem was if you wanted to play the games you needed to play plugged in but the brick is 180w and it gets super hot and it might cases battery issues over time, All though it have 12 months battery warranty for free but I wanted to add some more money and build a PC instead, overall not bad, pretty good, except battery issues.

Plays all games great like overwatch. I did have to get the battery replaced 20 days before the warranty ran out because it died.

Great laptop, Nice looks. Feels good not light good weight. Performs good on mostly every game I play like Battlefield 1, battlefront 2, and Helldivers 2.

The Laptop is amazing, good components but the storage is a little bit low, but this can be sol es with another m.2 ssd card. But overall the laptop has great specs and works amazing

Plays most medium-heavy games with no issue. Fit my needs perfectly. Easy open, with one hand, thanks to the tab on the lid and hinges. The bottom of the laptop doesn't try and flip up with it. That's honestly my favorite part. Soft texture keys are a MAGNET for fingerprints and skin oil but whatever. This model only has white for keyboard backlight. Fans aren't obnoxious but they definitely sound like they're putting in work. Exhaust on the back of the laptop is a nice feature.

It is a good laptop. Runs well, stays relatively cool, and performs well in all the games I play. Battery life is kind of bad but if you are not doing anything intensive and limit the cpu on battery, you can get about 3 hours with it.
