Lenovo makes migrating my files over so easy. The picture quality of this computer is great. I honestly with it came with a memory card port and a few more USB ports so I wouldn't have to buy a 75$ additional port hub but it is what it is. The sound on this computer is amazing and it works super fast too. The camera quality is great too for those video conferences. but it also has the slide port to turn on camera privacy for when you just dont want to be seen. I had been eyeing this laptop for a while and got it when it was on sale so it was definitely worth it.

Posted .Once again, thank you for choosing the Lenovo Yoga C740-14 with the optional Active Pen 2 which is sold separately. You can keep your computer running at its best by keeping the Windows 10 Operating System and all supporting BIOS files and drivers up to date. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. Just type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If you ever need additional help with your Lenovo computer, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help.

Surfing, spreasheets, video running in the background and this laptop has no problems keeping up! Im really a Mac user because of the simplicity and also because they always work. But this laptop has shown me that Windows base computers aren’t so bad. Oh and this is the first laptop i have that has a SSD drive and let me tell you this thing boots up fast. They’re is virtually now wait time. I can’t believe how convenient that is. Especially when you have an idea and have short term memory hahaha. My old laptop ive already forgotten what i wanted to do by the time the thing is booted up LoL. This thing is so fast im in aww everytime i boot it up cause im waiting for it to take forever but its ready to rock n roll before i can even turn my external mouse on. This was really middle of the road priced laptop and i feel like i got a top of the line model. Oh and the whole 2in1 idea is hilarious to me.. i never thought i would use the whole tablet feature but i use it every now and then and its hilarious to use a tablet thats 14in big! Hahaha I would definitely recommend this laptop to others. Reasonable price and great performance. Its kind of hard to ask for much more. Well at least at this price.

I dont understand specs of any pc, but did some research and went from there. For the price of this laptop, it was a great deal!! the speed is good, its super thin so itll fit in my backpack. I love the backlit keyboard, the touchscreen was a bonus, but not on my want list, and overall its a great computer. The only thing I wish it had was an ethernet port. But im not using it for gaming or anything so its fine. The wireless modem is great tho and keeps it moving. I have had no issues so far. great laptop!

I bought a Wacom Bamboo pen to go with it. It works great for writing notes if you're someone who likes to write by hand on occasion, like me. This is also my first laptop with a touchscreen and I will never go back! I feel the same about the fingerprint reader. The only complaint I have is that it is nearly impossible to open with just one hand. The Lenovo Yoga C740 has all the upgrades I was looking for and I'm happy with my purchase.

Very respectable specs for this price range, the laptop feels solid, is very low noise and performs better than expected. I'd normally ding it a star for non-upgradable RAM but if you keep the software load out lean this should not be an issue. Minimal bloatware, came out of the box with WIndows 10 2004 update installed, finger print sensor is reasonably accurate and fast. Would have preferred a Windows Hello certified webcam, but beyond that there is not a lot to complain about.

I would have been happy to pay $800 for this laptop but it has been on sale as low as $650, its a steal at $650. 14 inch screen is the perfect size, all metal build is premium, has plenty of power for everyday tasks. The Dolby speakers sound great, and the best feature the Dolby Vision HDR screen, the colors are amazing the screen is amazing for this price. Only thing not perfect is the 256GB of storage my wife stores alot on her laptop 512 would be better. Also this laptop has pen input and can use Wacom Bamboo Ink pen, lots and 2 in 1 my wife loves it.

The webcam is very clear and the screen looks amazing. I have used the laptop with AWS workspace and performed some simple coding in SQL for school. It is very fast. The reason I gave the C740 2 stars is definitely not the features. After only 30 days the laptop has begun to shut off randomly. When this happens I am no longer able to turn it back on long enough to even log into windows before it goes blank. Unfortunately I opted to go with lenovo's Premium Care Warranty instead of the warranty offered by Best Buy. They created a ticket and then canceled it before anyone even looked at my laptop(I'm going to try again). So, if you buy this PLEASE get the warranty through geek squad. I've worked with them in the past for another laptop I bought from BB and they are great! I just didnt want to spend the extra money this time and now Im paying for it.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issue with your Lenovo Yoga C740-15. It is possible that resetting your computer back to original factory settings may correct the issue you describe. Since you can not boot the computer, this system is equipped with OneKey Recovery System. There is a very small pin hole on the bottom right side of the device, right near the top right corner of the cooling vent on the bottom of the device. You will need a pin to push this reset button. Plug the device in. Let the battery charge for about 15 minutes. Push the reset button. The system should boot to a choice screen where you can choose "Restore To Factory Default". Select this. It will delete everything from the hard drive except the original factory install of the operating system. You will need to reinstall all programs and files after the reset. If you don't have copies of the files, try to make one before you restore by selecting "Boot to desktop" and trying to back up your files. Once you have the computer reset, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. I found this one on sale and after researching reviews decided to purchase it. Great laptop. Very sleek looking and so light, think it is lighter than my tablet. The only thing I had to get used to was the color of the keys especially when I'm not in a well lit area. This little thing is packed with power and seems like seconds to boot up even with all my virus and malware software. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a nice laptop.

I had a previous yoga for about 4 years and it crapped out. But I love lenovo yoga and love how far back the screen goes to make it a good position. I have to have touch screen. I hope to get another four years or more out of this laptop. I love it so much, basically a step up from my older yoga because it is lighter and sleeker. Also, I am a nursing student and works with all the programs I use for school. Only down side is it does not come with a stylist, I bought a cheap one on amazon that works fine with it.
