Horrible
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Power button broke after having the Laptop for 3 months. I tried contacting the manufacturer, but the manufacturer hasn't responded. Please make sure to get BestBuy warranty because the manufacturer doesn't seem to exercise good customer service.

Had to return Yoga laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I thought the size of the laptop was a bit small as I was used to larger ones. I ended up returning the laptop as it kept turning off unexpectedly and the screen kept freezing up.

Posted .The Lenovo Yoga C740-14 ships with Windows 10 Home 64-bit Operating System, which should not turn off or freeze. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.

spotty wi-fi connection and dead battery in 1 week
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I liked the look and feel of the computer but it wouldn't keep a wi-fi connection in my house. I checked for updates to see if that would help. There were 2 updates available even though I had only had the computer for a week so I installed them. From that point on the battery began to discharge and wouldn't recharge even when completely shut down. I will be returning computer.

Frustrated and concerned about the quakity and the service Bestbuy give us. On the first lenovo failed over a year, so i couldn't ckaim it either to bestbuy nor to the factory. Very convenient.

Unhappy with Best Buy Customer Service
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Understand, I am happy with the laptop. This review is for Best Buy Customer Service. I purchased this laptop as an Open Box Excellent product and one week later the price for the Open Box Excellent dropped $150: Best Buy will not match the price and provide this refund because it's an Open Box, they will only price match down to the New price. Poor policy, poor decision.

noy happy for the price.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I usually pay much less for a computer. This one is faster, but cheaper, Im worried that I paid more and it will only last a year like the cheaper ones. I returned an hp to get the Lenovo, but even those in the computer business have no faith in how long it will last. Everyone always talks about their 10 year old computers and how well they are still working. This Lenovo also does not have indentions on the keypads, so I am constantly pressing wrong letters. Thinking of returning.

Nice computer, glitchy though
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Set up easily, runs quickly. Having issues with the computer “freezing” in the middle of using it. Have to turn the power off to get it running again. I do like it, but do need to bring it in to have it looked at. ||Posted . Since it was brand new and I'm not tech savvy, I assumed I was the problem. I eventually found someone to help me and when they couldn't set it up either, I too it back to store, they checked it, found the problem and said most Lenovo computers had software problems. I wish they had mentioned it when I purchased it, it would have caused me a lot less stress.

I am glad I got it from Best Buy because it is IMPOSSIBLE to get support from Lenovo. The Geek troublehot it, confirmed my diagnosis, and took care of returning it to Lenovo to repair it. Otherwise, it was a great laptop until yesterday morning. Love the SS HD...starts up in a couple of seconds.

WiFi network issues
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I hate the idea of writing a review, but I really want to warn people about this product. I have half a dozen different pieces of technology Amazon Echo, Google home, android phones, MacBook Pro, and NONE of them have had issues connecting to my WIFI. Since day one, this yoga 740 that I bought had had endless problems connecting to the wifi. I've read dozens of articles about other folks who've had this issues, I've restart the computer, I've change the settings in the adapter, I've edited the registry, I've upgraded and downgraded and re-installed the drivers for the intel wifi adapter, and still I have yet to find a solution other than physically re-starting the router. NONE of my other devices had this issue. Do not trust this product.
