We are sorry to hear that you are having issues charging the battery within your Lenovo Yoga C740-14. Try letting the battery charge level drop below 50-Percent. Then plug the computer back in with your AC adapter/charger. The computer should begin charging normally, back to a full 100-Percent Charge. If you continue to have issues, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686. Lenovo

I purchased this laptop from Best Buy about July 1, 2020. From the get-go, the wifi reception was spotty. Dropping all the time in my office. I would have to put it in airplane mode, then it would search again for wi-fi and reconnect. I at first believed this to be a router problem, but I realized that my other devices were not having this problem. I have been meaning to take it in to Geek Squad to see how or if this can be repaired. What ultimately may cause me to take it in is the fact that anther problem has developed. The power cord does not work. It appears to be a port problem more than anything. I would say 3/4 of the time that the machine is plugged in, it is not charging. So I bought a laptop computer that most of the time will not hold a wifi signal, and most of the time will not charge. Other than that it has been great.

I’m really impressed! The screen is absolutely gorgeous—vivid colors and super crisp. It’s perfect for watching videos and working on presentations. The laptop itself is lightweight and looks premium, which makes it easy to carry around and nice to use in public spaces. Performance has been solid so far. I can run multiple apps at once without any lag, and it handles my work tasks with ease. The battery life is also pretty good—I can go a full workday without needing to charge.

This is a great lighweight laptop, The material it's made of feels superb, amazing vibrant screen but it is a little glossy. The only big thing that ruins it for me is the high pitch noise it makes when the fans start up. The high pitch noise ruins my concentration when I'm trying to tasks with the laptop.

Pretty good. needs more space and should not have all that preloaded stuff which makes it hard for you to use your own space for what you want. The fingerprint button does not really work. And sometimes when you switch to tablet, it feels as though the plastic will crack. Need to be made better

The Lenovo Yoga C740-14 ships with a 256GB NVMe TLC Solid State hard drive. The Lenovo Yoga C740-14 ships with just two adware programs, a 30-day trial of Microsoft Office 365 (as part of Windows 10 operating system) and a 30-day trial of McAfee virus protection. Lenovo computers ship with one of the cleanest factory software installs within the consumer computer industry. Here's a tip for making your fingerprint reader work every time: Try lightly sliding your finger over the fingerprint reader. No need to press hard on the reader, in fact pressing hard on the fingerprint reader will distort your fingerprint and cause read errors. The Lenovo Yoga C740-14 has an aluminum case. Lenovo

We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Lenovo Yoga C740-14. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686. Lenovo

    Know Problem with USB-C

The USB-C port failed after a couple of weeks. I was very disappointed with the Yoga C740. I got my laptop before Christmas. And I did not use it much until recently. After reading some reviews on the internet, it looks like other people have a similar problem with the USB-C port. I tried to do a return at the Best Buy store in San Carlos but I was told that I had plenty of time to return since Oct and the last date of return was Jan 15th. But I did not get my laptop until Dec 5th. Not sure if this is a fair comparison. Better yet, I was told that they had two open box Yoga C740 returned by customers. Needless to say, I'm disappointed with Best Buy and Lenovo.
