Chose this LG unit due to attractive looks and extendable vent. It works great and captures cooking odors from front burners. The push function to engage vents is quiet and reliable. The rear vents come down at an angle, which is cool. The interior of the unit is huge. The exterior light is very bright.

We had to quickly replace our range that went out cooking dinner one evening. We bought the LG double oven and decided we should have a matching microwave. We ordered this one without seeing it in store, but we are glad we did. The presets cooked the items we have thus far perfectly - reheated chili, softened butter, baked potato. I love that the buttons are at eye level for me at only 5’2” tall. I like the extended vent as well. My only complaint is that the glass plate sticks out oddly from the front opening and I tend to hit bowls on it as I put them in the microwave. I added some photos to show how it sticks out. Other than that, I am very pleased.

I bought this over-the-stove microwave for it’s pop out stove vent. My whirlpool microwave died after exactly 4 years because the steam from boiling water got inside it’s door and ruined the control panel (bad design and shoddy workmanship.) this LG unit has full coverage of the stove’s boil unit plus four powerful vents that efficiently sucks the steam and odors away from living space! Huge upgrade and frankly I’m surprised LG is the only manufacturer to offer that feature. Microwave works well as most do and has some nice features. Interior is not stainless—wish it was.

So pleased with my purchase. This microwave is beautiful, quiet, easy to use, and the best feature is the extended ventilation tray! We love it. Give it 5 stars! The only thing recommended for manufacturer is to make the inside blue/purple color to match their ranges.

We have had LG appliances for almost 10 years now and we needed to replace the microwave and because we've been so happy with the one we had before we essentially bought the newer version of the model. This Microwave is perfect for our family, we have a large family and so any appliance gets a lot of use, and LG has proven to be very reliable. The vent below the microwave is an excellent feature as it helps vent the oven top when cooking on the oven below. Would definitely recommend this model microwave.

Overall, so far, excellent unit. Really enjoy the extendable vent, works well keeping steam off of door, especially since the keys are on the front door of the unit. Really do Like/ prefer the keys on the lower front door for ease of use. Lastly, one thing to note, there is a decent size notch on the top left of the unit for the microwave door, make sure you or the installer checks for clearance as we needed to adjust our cabinet doors above the unit ( thankfully ours were adjustable )

This microwave is really great. It’s quiet but powerful. I love the extend a vents that help vent the oven when your cooking bacon or have something that smokes a lot on top of the stove!

This has a modern design and i bought it open box, the condition was excellent. Very powerful and very easy to install! Love it! Great purchase

Really like the style. Vent is a great feature and works well. Touch panel on the door is easy to use. The operation of cooking food and the sensor cooking works good. I haven't tried to defrost anything yet. I guess my only con is the wire rack inside the microwave, I find it in the way and to low while putting in and take out hot food while on the turn table. Overall happy. I find the build quality to be solid.

I read several reviews and looked at several brands of OTR microwaves prior to purchasing this one. I also went to several stores to look at the product in person and talk to several sales persons. I love LG products and this one has not disappointed me. It gets very hot even on 30 seconds you'll be surprised. It's quiet and operates great. It's a great value for the price. I priced shopped and it was the same price at Lowes which by the way had a 3 week backorder. I did purchase the warranty just in case.

The microwave itself is awesome. Working great! However, (I'm not sure who's fault it is? LG transfer, Best Buy Warehouse, or delivery guys. The box it arrives in has no damage, so probably not the delivery guys). I received the 1st microwave with the Face mashed in (not smashed, just mashed). I returned it and reordered. The 2nd one arrive. The Back of that one was bent and mashed also. And it had a fairly large dent an upper side in the crease from the top to the side. Having no microwave for another 7 - 10 days was not an option, so... I was able to hide the dent (mostly) and able to reinforce the rear so it would hang on the mounting bracket without fear of it to come crashing down.

Well it’s a microwave and works as it should. Simple settings for reheating and defrosting. Very powerful so it took awhile to remember not to set as high of runtime. Vent works great and can be outside vented, which is a nice feature.

Excellent, it looks great in my new kitchen. In fact it was a great decision to purchase the matching microwave with the matching gad range. I am enjoying the new look too.

Great microwave, great time saver. I love the fact that we can heat/cook more than one item at a time with the addition of the rack, and the sensor cook feature is perfect for my family who either overheats/boils and leaves a mess, or underheats/cooks and opens and slams the door shut a gazillion times. I personally love the extended vent feature when searing meat on the stove top. It does a great job of circulating the smoke out your way. If you actually take the time to read through the manual for cooking tips, you won’t be disappointed. We’re very happy with our choice.

My old microwave was bought in 1999 and still worked flawlessly but I needed to get one that goes over my stove. Everything I have is LG so I chose this one because of the extending vent and I got it as an open box item. It works great, cooks quickly, and even softens butter like it describes. The vent is pretty loud on the highest setting and you can barely tell the difference between high and low settings for the light. Other than that, it does its job well.

We bought this to match our oven which should show up later. It works great and easy to use.

This microwave has two filters and a tray that extends for efficient venting. Easy to use.

Measure the depth & height of your cabinets first. Only downside for us was it’s so deep that the fan can’t come all the way down because of the proximity to the elevated controls on the back of the stove
