I bought a Samsung 4k TV, blu-ray disc player and HW-K850/ZA soundbar at Christmas. The TV and disk player were fine but the soundbar had problems so I exchanged it for this LG. The sound is much better and casting music from my smartphone and laptop fills my living room nicely. I also like the looks of the LG better and so does the Mrs.

I was set on buying something in the $200.00-$300.00 range, but then I A/B'd them with the LG and the sound quality wasn't even close. Just know the bar is HUGE! It will slightly block the tv screen if put in front. For me once my condo is painted the tv and soundbar are getting hung up anyway.

The 7.1 LG Music Flow System with sound bar and sub is the BEST on the market right now. Easy to set up and makes the overall movie experience more enjoyable. Highly recommended

The sound is amazing the best soundbar from LG so far love it

We purchased this to go with our new LG OLED TV. The sound is decent, but the price is rather high compared to other sound bars on the market. The other drawback is that both the soundbar and the subwoofer are large in size. I think you could get smaller components that create the same sound. The reason we purchased this LG soundbar was because we wanted to make sure it paired well with our new LG OLED TV and it does do that easily and effectively. The other nice feature is that has bluetooth capability so I'm able to use the soundbar to play music from my Apple products or my Android cell phone.

This subwoofer has exceeded my expectations! I love that it can connect to Bluetooth to my tv or phone. The subwoofer puts out plenty of bass and I love that it is wireless and can be plugged in anywhere in the room. The sound output for movies and music is awesome! I am picky when it comes to speakers and this sound bar did not disappoint

This Soundbar is the best bang for the buck hands down and unfortunately I've tried a lot of them. Full disclosure, this soundbar and I did not get off to a good start. After having it for a couple days, I returned it for another. It froze up and stop working. The sound quality, clarity and power made me give it another chance. Already, I knew based on previous purchases I was NOT going to get the sound in anything else for the money. The 2nd problem was my fault and I didn't realize it until maybe a week later. I had my Sub Woofer behind my sofa which caused my Sub to cut out on one movie during a loud explosions and I could NOT stream music without it going out. So at the time, I was super satisfied with the performance and sound when watching movies and TV just uneasy with not having a complete system to do everything I wanted and still thinking the unit had flaws. That lead me to keep searching for something better. I compared it to the Samsung Atmos $1500. When playing a DVD not coded in Dolby Atmos, the LG 7.1 sounded better hands down no comparsion! The Definitive Technology system (In my house, tried it took back) did NOT sound better than the LG 7.1! This lead me to a trip to the Bose store. I ended buying the Bose 300 complete system with the rear speakers. $1800!! It sounded great but it was at this time that I realize the Sub was too far from the soundbar. I called a couple of friends that are also into to tech and home theater, one has the Bose 300. We did multiple sound test, different movie scenes and finally the Bose owner heard what I was telling him all along. The sound was just as good and better in some cases than his premium brand and priced Bose system. The Boss acoustimass Sub is better by far but other than that, The LG 7.1 won! Needless to say the Bose system is packed up and on it's way back to store and I'm up $1100!!!!! This bar is better than others that cost more than double! Another note, the demo in the store doesn't give a consumer a good idea of how good this product is. Shame on LG for that. Based on that Demo I'm surprised they sold any at all. I took a chance on it because of the price and it paid off! Get it while they still have it because this is clearance item!

I purchased this as it was a bundle set with my LG OLED for only $400. was planning on getting another brand but the discount was hard to resist. I'm using optical connection and the setup with a LG is simple and works well. The bluetoooth and wifi streaming works well. no issues. this soundbar can get really loud, I don't think I'll ever use it over halfway. The bass is a little weak, but acceptable. dialog and sound is clear and fills the room when set to cinema. for $900 is a don't buy but for $400 it's definitely a buy, especially if you have a LG TV.

Set up was a breeze. It's Bluetooth compatible, put your phone next to it and next thing ya know you're playing the music on your phone through the sound bar. Great sound. I like the night mode.

we purchased this sound bar as an open box after hearing it in the store saved a ton and it looks brand new we wanted a bar mostly for movie watching and this LG does not disappoint the sound is crisp and clear and can get very loud ! we have it setup with our LG 65 in SUHD TV and they work just perfect together even TV watching using the bar is great hearing sounds we never heard before the sub puts out good thump on our hardwood floors we had to turn it down we have not used the music flow not what we bought this for so cant comment on that the bar is big so keep that in mind but you need the larger speakers to get the better sound it is not 4K pass thru but we run just audio from our 4k Blu-ray player and optical from our TV to the bar and it works great for the price you can`t beat this LG it has different sound settings and 3 HDMI in ports set up right this bar will blow your socks off ...no kidding.and its easy to set up we are older and not tech people and that was a plus for us we are very happy with this bar thanks BB for these great open box deals..

I wasn't sold on the whole sound bar "wave of the future" but after listening to this particular sound bar I understood. I've had the sound bar now for 3 month, overall I have no issues with the sound quality however some of the features are a little buggy. Theres no way I would have paid full price for this product but It went on sale for less than $400 and I couldn't resist. I would say its a 4/5, not perfect but great quality.

I use this as a shop stereo and so far it's sound quality is great but we'll see after 6 months of daily use at about 60% of its capacity. At 700w it's more than enough sound to fill a 15k sq. ft. space. Great base and a decent variety of sound modes. I think its more intended to be paired with a TV due to no USB or AUX ports. That's really the only reason I gave it a 4. Otherwise good product.

Although this is a bit in the bulky side, i think think once you listen to the sound quality of the speakers, you will understand why they are a bit bigger. Great package deal for sure, speaker and sub. Sonos does offer any special with their speaker and sub. I do own a sonos, but i prefer the bang for my buck with these and same quality sound, if not better.

I really like the sound bar compared to the highend one I just returned. It is easy to use and it does meet my audio needs. It comes with two optical inputs , so I can hook up my playstation and my apple tv at once if I choose too. The downside is the weight can be a problem if you plan on putting it in a higher location. The product is long so you would have to plan accordingly.

After comparing and researching, Bose and Klisch soundbars I decided to take a chance with this Lg, and all I can say is I got no regrets. Easy to set up, half the price of Bose and Klipsch and the sound is room filling and clear, could not be any happier with my purchase.

We got this soundbar with a bundle deal that was offered on the TV, so the price was MUCH lower than it is normally listed for. The sound quality is much better than the other sound bar we own. The only thing we couldn't do was mount this soundbar to the bottom of the TV mount given the soundbar's weight.

Movies and music both sound great from the soundbar. There are sound effects to choose from that include cinema, music, bass boost and others. You can connect HDMI devices to the soundbar and then HDMI to the TV, or you can connect the soundbar to the TV using an optical cable. I was not able to find out if the HDMI would work as a passthrough for 4k, but I assume not based on no available information. I run all HDMI devices to the TV and then an optical cable from the TV to the soundbar for sound, I am very pleased with the soundbar. Another nice feature is the ability to connect through bluetooth and listen to music from your phone on the soundbar.

Great Sound and thunderous bass. Just got a problem on a excellent open box that I bought, after 2 weeks of using it keeps shutting down. That's why i had to return it.

This sound bar does a great job providing quality sound to our tv area. The sub gives nice bass and the bar itself delivers nice surround effects during movie watching.

So bought this Soundbar cause I didn’t wanna run wires all over my house but I still wanted great quality sound.This Soundbar is a great does an excellent job and haven’t had any issues.
