This is a good unit has a lot of features and cares bass not as load as I figure but I'm a hard to please guy with my amps and stuff ( its load ) I feel for the Money it a good Deal would buy a second one if I wanted one.

My main reason for buying this stereo is to play CD'S with good sound quality. Even though it doesn't have a multi disc loader you can only play 1 disc at a time anyway on any stereo system so I'm fine with that. The sound quality and the bass on this system are great. The system is easy to set up, however I had to splice the speaker wires to add more speaker wiring on 1 speaker and the woofer because the wires were not long enough to reach the other side of my entertainment cabinet. I also hooked it up to my TV for when I'm watching movies. I had the volume up to 18 and that was good enough for me and the sound quality was still great!

Overall not bad for the price but wasn't happy with the quality of the sound so I returned this one and looking for better one, I think i will go with the stand alone speakers and small audio amp from Bose..

Its a nice systeam if you like more musical insturments over vocal. It had to much thump and too much base. No way to even it out . Poor qty.

Was bought as an Xmas gift so it's in the closet, still in the box. A more accurate review can be given after December 25th.

700 Watts is nice but when you produce a poor sound it’s wasted power. Lacks a crisp quality sound. Very disappointing.

Awesome product! My son laughed at first. He said Dad, why did you buy a boom box for the living room? It won't. Be loud enough...his smirk was gone when i cranked it up. Great sound clarity, bass, and raw power! Great price! It sounds like a thousand dollar system...and yet costs only around 200 bucks! Bravo LG!

i first purchased a Sony and that was a waste! I had to return it immediately after hearing the quality. This LG is awesome!. Sound is great , it's very loud and it looks nice. It can also connect to the TV . Great job LG.

I purchased this stereo online and just got it today. I have to say this works great and it has many different options. It has 2 AUX imports one in the front and one in the rear. Also has 2 USB imports which allow you to record or play from your usb flash drives or usb devices. I purchased this item manly to play my turntable. And it sounds amazing on this stereo!! I highly recommend this product!

The LG CM4550 appears to be a nice piece of equipment that adds an uptick to any room's styling. It is simple to install and seems to provide reasonable instructions. My biggest gripe is the length of wires that are attached to the speakers. This is especially true of the subwoofer which has a customized connector on the one end that plugs into the main unit and the other end is factory connected to the speaker so there is no chance of fitting an extension. My other concern is with the main volume control knob on the unit. It appears flimsy and there seems to be a good deal of lateral movement. Input options are good with two USB ports (where you can even copy from one stick to the other), a Bluetooth capability that allows for the connection of up to three devices (which was surprisingly easy to set up), an L-R auxiliary input and a "Port In" input allowing you to use a variety of different devices. Overall sound quality appears to be good with an equalizer that has eleven basic settings with a subset of selections for you Latin music lovers. In summary, I would say that if you are looking for a good system with enough inputs to cater for most devices for less than $200, the LG 700W is a very good buy.

Pros: - Cheap - Kicks the panties off similarly priced 'computer speaker' systems. I highly recommend using a home shelf system with aux in from computer vs what's marketed as computer speakers. - High power output, can get very loud - USB features Cons: - Mids and highs are a bit muffled. It lacks the 'shimmering' clarity one would get from speakers that put equal emphasis on the entire EQ range. I believe most emphasis was put on bass (which makes sense, that 700W sticker helps sell) Overall a good value for its price though. I liked my old shelf system from 10 years ago better but it broke.
