It was on sale at the time and it seemed like a great deal. You really do get what you pay for. The bass on this unit is incredibly weak. It's almost non-existent. I went ahead and purchased a Sony LBT-GPX555 and haven't looked back since. Not a great product.

I am so disappointed in this purchase.... Words can't explain..... I need bass. I don't even know why it comes with a sub woofer. I have a Sony that is a little beat up but lasted for ten years. I will be hooking it back up.

Just all of sudden, no sound from cd playing portion, if I connect to the laptop, or radio. Nothing...I called LG tech sup, she told me to disconnect and reconnect, still no sound. I returned to best buy immediately. I never bought anything that is broken less than a day...this is truly happening now...
