This is definitely one of the top LG OLED models of all time. It is an amazing piece of technology, the sleek and an ultra-thin profile with the minimalist aesthetic is what makes it superior to other TV models. The 4K OLED panel, the TV offers stunning contrast ratios, deep blacks, and vibrant colors that pop off the screen. The high refresh rate and high Ai performance is something to see. This TV will leave you feeling like you’re there in person when watching sports events.

I recently purchased the LG 77" Class G4 Series OLED evo 4K UHD Smart webOS TV from Best Buy, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. Honestly, I never thought I’d spend this much on a TV, but after experiencing it, I realize it was a fantastic investment that has completely transformed my home entertainment. The picture quality is simply breathtaking. Thanks to OLED evo technology, the colors are vibrant, the blacks are incredibly deep, and the clarity is stunning. Watching movies, sports, and streaming content feels like stepping into a cinema — the immersive experience is second to none. The large 77-inch screen creates a theater-like ambiance right in my living room. The TV was expertly installed by the Best Buy geek squad, who made the setup process smooth and hassle-free. The sleek One Wall Design adds a modern, elegant touch that fits perfectly into my space, making the entire setup look clean and sophisticated. To elevate the experience even further, I paired it with the LG 9.1.5-channel S95TR soundbar. The soundbar's immersive, theater-like audio completes the package, making every scene feel alive and incredibly real. It’s like bringing a movie theater home — the sound and picture together create an unmatched entertainment environment. I wish I had known earlier how much a high-quality TV could enhance my at-home viewing. It’s more than just a screen; it’s a portal to a new level of entertainment. Ok, I know there is no such thing as a perfect TV or display, but this gets pretty darn close. The G4 was one of the best TV's of 2024 and even with the new models from all brands releasing for 2025, you can typically find these models at a pretty good discount (considering the release price of this TV was $4,599). With that "value" taken into consideration, I think that makes the G4 still an exceptional option and one of the best TV's for 2025 as well. Since this is an OLED TV, by default you are going to get rich, accurate, and vibrant colors, perfect contrast with deep zero level blacks, near instantaneous pixel response times, and incredible viewing angles. The MLA OLED EVO panel makes the G4 one of the brightest OLED TV's you can get, while also being one of the most accurately color calibrated TV's you can get out of the box. The Alpha 11 AI Processor also provides top-tier image processing. Whether it's low-quality content smoothing, AI upscaling, or motion processing, everything you view on this display will look its absolute best. The G4 is also packed with features such as 4x HDMI 2.1 ports capable of up to 144hz 4K gaming with VRR and is AMD Freesync Premium Pro and Nvidia Gsync certified. One of the HDMI 2.1 ports also doubles as an eARC port for your soundbar or sound system. It supports HDR formats such as Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HLG, and has DTS audio passthrough as well. Basically, if you're a movie lover or a gamer, you will find a lot to love about this TV. To top it off, this comes with a 5-year panel warranty included as well. So, if you're worried about burn in, you can have confidence and peace of mind. The only con I have is the remote. It big, feels cheap, and I find the motion cursor to be pretty annoying since I tend to activate it by accident constantly when I don't want to use it. Other than that, I do believe the G4 is incredible and has completely transformed my living room and made movies and gaming much more immersive. If you are in the market for a high-end OLED TV and you can't wait for the holiday season for the G5 to start going on sale, the G4 is a must see and highly recommended.

Upgrading from a 2016 LG 65" C6 3D Curved OLED. It was one of the Best from 2016 and now this G4 is the best of 2024. This new G4 is a lot Bigger, Brighter and Better. Going from 65" to 77" makes a difference. Hanging it on the wall gives a whole new perspective also. Added a Klipsch Flexus Core 200 Sound Bar for everyday use to compliment my Denon/Klipsch Atmos Surround System for movies Love it!

I bought the LG G4 79” TV because my last TV was too small to see the scoreboard during baseball games — and also because I enjoy making reckless financial decisions. This thing is massive. Like, "NASA called to ask if it was interfering with satellite signals" massive. When I turned it on, my wife complained for 20 minutes because she had to put on a welders hood just to watch Pitch Black in its entirety. I can now see pores on actors’ faces that I didn’t even know existed. I watched Planet Earth and cried because I swear a penguin looked directly at me and judged my life choices. The picture is so clear I swear I saw Tom Cruise blink in Morse code during Mission: Impossible. The sound? Honestly not as bad as the reviews I’ve seen on here. Downside? I need three remotes and Google Maps to navigate the settings menu. Final verdict: 10/10, would buy again — if I ever move into a sports bar.

Giving a 2month review, this 77” G4 is even better than my 65” Panasonic plasma TV, it is brighter and has a much better picture than the plasma tv’s. Price was fantastic for a tv of this quality and Best Buy delivered the tv on time.

I have this TV already for a month and it doesn't cease to amaze me. The brightest clearest pic ever. Even old movies from the 90's and older still look amazing.. Watching anything on this TV is a real joy. I love the remote control, feels comfortable in your hand and even the weight it has gives you the feeling of high quality remote. You can access the picture settings without interrupting whatever you are watching. A separate window let's you do that and go back to the main screen.. And by the way these pictures doesn't do justice to the quality of that screen but if you visit the store and take a look by yourself, you'll see what I'm talking about.

Absolutely incredible tv. The picture quality, detail, color, contrast, personalization, capabilities, all absolutely amazing! I considered buying an 8k t.v. but decided against it because of how new 8k is and the likelihood that I'd be overpaying for something with a high probability of failure. I'm glad I bought the G4. It's everything I had hoped for in an 8k plus so much more. I've used it for gaming a few times since I got it and I noticed a significant improvement in my performance. I've been performing noticeably better and having way more fun. I'm still blown away by the fact that I'm getting better frame rate than most gaming monitors. I personally think this TV and all of its capabilities is a better buy than any currently available 8k tv or any gaming monitor. You get the better of both worlds.

Great TV however I’m not that impressed with the TV. I bought this based on all the other reviews I watched and read online. I think you’re better off going with the C4. I will say this TV does get extremely bright.

Great OLED TV. Processing is very good , accurate colors and enough brightness for my family & me. Sound is great for small space and coming from a tv.

LG G4 just delivered and have had 2 days. i was considering this tv or the Sony A95L but based on professional reviews bought the G4 even tho i had not seen it in the showroom. Is equal to or better than the A95L. color saturation and brightness are excellent as is amount of detail shown. i liked using the AI feature to select the way i wanted my screen to show content visually. i went for warm brightness. my previous tv was the LG G2 and the G4 is a dramatic improvement. i use a Sonos Arc soundbar and the room is very bright during day

Coming from a top of the line 1080p Panasonic plasma TV, turning this on and loading some Dolby Vision 4k video was so overwhelming in such a satisfying way! Wow! I have been missing so much. The picture clarity, colors, everything just pops out like a 3D-picture. Super immersive at 77”. Steep entry price and a huge sacrifice but man o man, was it worth it! It is like your eyes just opened up to a whole new world of experiences. One word to describe this TV: Amazing! I’m a believer now; YouTube reviewers were absolutely right about this being the 2024 best TV contender.

Satisfied Customer I purchased this TV to replace my 14 year old Sony 60" BRAVIA LX900 Series 3D HDTV (Still working). I am very pleased with the picture, SDR viewing is good, the TV is too bright for my environment/me and I had to turn it down. Had not experienced HDR viewing before but I can definitely see the difference. G-SYNC worked perfectly with my NVIDIA RTX-3080, HDR gaming also worked perfectly, smooth game play no issues. WebOS is responsive, it picked up all my devices connected to my AVR (FireTV, NVDIA SHIELD, Blu-ray player and Verizon Cable box), detected my PLEX servers and my QNAP DLNA server. It pass-through all the audio formats I tried (Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital+, AAC, FLAC, TrueHD, Atmos, DTS, DTS-HRA, DTS-HD MA and DTS:X). Overall, this TV did everything I wanted. One note, the pointer on the remote is annoying to me and I wish I could turn it off, none of the methods on the web worked.

This 77in TV is beyond exceptional in many aspects. The packaging was simple to work with yet extremely secure. The next thing was the ease of setting the TV up (with help of course). And the overall stunning display quality is just incredible. Even in bright rooms the brightness booster makes a very large difference. So far ive had the TV for a month and i have not encountered a single issue with it. Well Done LG. Now all i need is my Sonos surround sound kit to complete it.

The best television I’ve owned hands down. The G4 is definitely a flagships item that I haven’t regretted one moment. It has made crappy streaming look good and had more importantly for me added depth and engagement to video games beyond belief. The PS5 and Series X look like new machines on here. I would highly recommend to someone questioning its price. I bought just before the G5 launched and I’m glad I did as the G5 has some new problems to what I read on angles and HDR. Love this set.

Beautiful picture, paired it with the LGS95QR Soundbar and couldn't be happier. Like all LG Oled's you just need to turn off Energy Saver in order to take advantage of the TV's brightness. I would also switch from the default picture mode to ISF Bright or ISF Dark for SDR and Cinema Home or Filmmaker for HDR. Turn off all AI brightness and AI Picture unless you want the TV to control the brightness and Picture

Everything about it is excellent, with one minor caveat—the ARC connection isn’t entirely seamless. Fortunately, there are workarounds to address that. Overall, it’s bright, responsive, and what I appreciate most is how flush it sits against the wall. That’s a major plus, as it allowed me to reclaim a bit of space.

Glorious 4K TV with the brightest OLED I could find. I thought about getting the A95L, but this one was brighter and had more gaming features. Best TV I have ever owned! OLED is best if you want perfect blacks. The only downside I'll say is the speakers could be better. I got a Sonos Beam GEN 2.

Amazing picture quality outstanding black levels and brightness. The anti-glare on this 77 really well. Also geek dquad in Daytona beach Fl did amazing installation 10/10. Would highly recommend buying a 5 year GSP specifically living in number 1 capital for lighting strikes
