Read customer reviews and Consumer Reports reviews of washers and dryers this time around. my last purchase 5 years ago of another major brand washer and dryer didn't work out as well so I decided to be more cautious this time around. My other purchase had me repairing the dryer twice in two years after the warranty expired. This washer not only gets top marks for performance from Consumer Reports but comes in at the top of the reliability predictor. So far we love it, great features and even tells you when loads are done from the app. Just make sure you measure before it gets delivered as this model is bigger than than most other front loaders. We had to raise our wall mounted laundry cabinets about 5 inches to accommodate the increased height. it was bigger by 2-4 inches on almost every dimension over our last set with the sidekick on the washer and pedestal drawer on the dryer.

I have 3 kids under the age of 6 and I feel like I waste so many hours of my life doing laundry! This dryer is huge! I can dry huge loads of laundry with room to spare! Buy the washer and the dryer and you will cut down laundry time! Make sure you clean your vent every time. My last dryer lasted forever and I think it’s because I clean the vent every time! I mostly use normal, heavy duty, bedding and wrinkle free settings and every one of them do what they claim first time without having to continue to add more time like my last dryer. If your forgetful, the setting that alerts or starts the dryer is great as well. Five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ From me!

I bought the washer and dryer set. I originally wanted the gas dryer but the electric was on sale under open-box for a significantly lower price. I couldn't pass it up. Anyway, dryer is great. It's huge. Can easily dry towels and King size comforter. The lent tray is huge and easy to clean. The machine is quiet and you can barely hear it. It has a lot of great functions. You can run a hose to it and use the steam function on the dryer. The overall set is great. It big. It's beautiful. It's expensive but definitely worth it. I bought my appliances open box and got a huge deal on them. If you can buy it on a great sale, do it. I don't think I could afford or could see myself spending the money at it's original price. The dryer is great and high efficiency. I'd highly recommend.

This LG is a great fit for our lifestyle! Offering huge cleaning options and a great look. Measure twice they are larger then a regular set! If you add the base you may need to move cabinets up to fit the height.

Never had a washer and dryer like this before then again never had my own home to where I’d have to buy my own washer and dryer before! These are amazing and they work like a dream! If you have the money and you can spend it totally worth buying!

This thing is huge inside and out. I'm like, we can put all our cloths in this thing and then jump In with them.... The Geek Squad technicians did a great job of connecting everything up. My wife loves her new LG machines.

It runs fine but the 220 wiring is unprotected coming out of the machine. I think the protective shielding is missing.

I absolutely love my machine!! I have both washer and dryer… I can wash large loads, comforters and bedding!!! It’s so easy to maintain, I’ve received so many compliments from my guests! Would highly recommend this product

Got the matching set. This dryer is massive and has a stainless steel lighted tub. We washed 2 loads in the full size washer and 1 load in the pedestal sidekick washer. Put everything in the dryer. Took about an hour to dry everything on low heat. Left the clothes in overnight to wrinkle. I wanted to test the steam feature. The next day the shirts were full of wrinkles. Set the dryer to the steam fresh cycle. After 11 min everything came out looking perfect. This dryer contrary to the other reviews is Apple IOS compatible. I downloaded the Smart ThinQ app from LG rather than the Apple App Store. Connection was easy. The app allows full control of the W/D and all their cycles. You get alerts when your clothes are done and you can also watch the progress of your cycles and estimated completion time on your phone. Love this set!

This is an excellent dryer. Its super large, super quiet and super functional. It has a slick design too. The storage compartment up top is very useful or functional for the random things like coins or keys that you never know where to put. It also does an excellent job at its job of drying and eco features to save $ and electricity. The wifi connectivity is nice and like getting reminders on my iphone that the dryer cycle is done.

This machine is reliability and super easy to use. The controls are very easy to use and very versatile. Iys also very quiet. I have this on my 2nd floor near my bedroom and it never wakes me up. Also very fast dry times with every load coming out perfect.

This is by far the BEST washer I have ever owned. It is quiet, washes efficiently, and can handle a large amount of wash at one time while still cleaning really well. This is the first front-loading machine I have owned because I have been hesitant about the possibility of mold growing in the door seal. This design seems to be a big improvement over older designs and the door and seal are very easy to dry and keep clean. This machine has so many cycles that I have not been able to try them all in the month I've owned it. I will say clothes come out cleaner than before and towels are spun so well the drying time is cut way down. I have nothing but positive things to say about these machines. The addition of the pedestals makes for an easier time moving laundry in and out of the machines as they are such a large capacity and you don't need to "crawl" in them to get everything out. Highly recommend this LG washer.

I know this dryer is not the cheapest Dryer but it works so well. It is quiet and dry's so much better than our old Samsung. Can comfortably fit king size comforter and actually dry it. You will not be disappointed.

Bought it a year ago, hasn't had any issues, will recommend , huge capacity. I do hope it takes less time to dry things, but it is much quicker than other dryers I had. A little pricy though

With this dryer my clothes dry in half the time compared to the one I replaced, it was only 4 yrs. old. My old dyer was loud from day one and you couldn't place any items on top while drying or you would find it on the floor from vibration. With my Lg I have the satisfaction of laying items on top such as dryer sheets and they stay there, no vibration. This dryer is extremely quiet as I can run it and go to bed and get some sleep considering there's only a bedroom closet between me and the laundry room, I couldn't do this with my other dryer which was a popular name brand. I would not pay full retail for the LG but wait for the sale price and get yourself a dependable, quiet, sure to dry bedsheets from 3 beds within an hour, dryer.

I bought this as a pair with the matching LG front loading washer. They are both amazing. It dries quicker, quieter, and more efficiently. The angled drums are so much easier for me to load/un-load. I love all of the extra features and have used most of them.

The dryer is HUGE, especially when purchased with the pedestal. So far (after having it a month) it is SPECTACULAR. We can wash the clothes much faster (we are a family of 5) and it's actually dry when it finishes...something that NEVER happened with our old dryer

Bought this s dyer on a sale. It has been everything we had hoped it would be, quiet, quick, and efficient. Delivered on time, when promised, and set up.

Works great, Clothes come out dry and without damage which is the important part. I try to use each setting for what is going into the dryer which works out well. Also if you do use the proper setting the app can track which type of laundry you are doing and the frequency if that is important to you. Another important feature is the wrinkle away stem setting that comes in handy since I don't like to iron. Price is higher compared to other units.
