This monitor really stepped up my gaming experience. You definitely gotta adjust to all the real estate if you never played on an ultra wide but after a solid hours my eyes really got used to it and I can’t go back to a regular monitor. It’s amazing and the OLED make this monitor the ultimate gaming monitor

First off, let me share that this display is amazing. I got it for $700 off so i couldnt pass up that deal. With that said, the clarity, brightness, response time are all very high end. A lot of people complained about the stand taking up too much space but honestly this was not an issue for mer personally as i have a very deep desk. As long as you have a deep desk you should be fine. Adjustability of the stand is nice as well, plenty of range of motion. I did end up returning it though, for two main reasons. One, while it is amazing for gaming in fullscreen, i found content such as you tube, netflix, and prime video to be a painful experience. I could not get any of them to play in full screen, all three of them cropped with large black bars on all four sides, totally defeating the purpose of a display like this for that purpose. I did see alot of people overcome this with software installed from third party vendors on their pc, but frankly, that is absurd. There are displays 1/3 this price that play content full screen with no issues right out of the box. I refuse to install software from a third party just to get it to work as intended. LG really should not have shipped this product with such a flaw. The second reason i returned is its size and curvature, while great for gaming immersion, but made multitasking painful for me. The screen is large enough to fit a ton of content and windows on, so multitasking is totally doable with it, but the part that made me change my mind was after using it for a while for such purposes, the extreme curvature makes each window look skewed very differently. If you turn your head to face the content head on, this is resolved, but it was excessive head movement for me. I am coming from a triple flat panel setup and i dont have to move my head at all if i dont want yo and text/images all remain clear and not skewed. I would not recommend this for productivity at all, gaming exclusively. Overall I do think this is a really great display, and if you get it at a massive discount like I did, go for it, but keep in mind it has a specific use case where it shines like a diamond at the cost of making other use cases less than ideal

Hands-down, the best monitor I have. My wife gave it to me as a gift for my birthday and it has still yet to be beat. This monitor out performs all the other monitors I have. If I could have two, I would be in heaven this monitor is definitely the G.O.A.T. And yes, I know I have the best wife ever.

I got this for gaming and it’s incredible for that. As a normal monitor it’s not close to many other monitors due to its PPI. Videos and images look incredible but text can be blurry (it does get a lot better if you adjust windows HDR and ClearType settings, though)

Best monitor I have ever used for gaming. Colors and HDR are amazing. It took me about two weeks to fully get used to the size coming from a 27” monitor. I purchased this monitor and the 27” version to compare and see what I wanted to keep. Ended up keeping this monitor, it’s an experience to say the least.

Upgraded from IPS version of 34 inch Alienware model. Not as bright as some of the competitors but plenty for me. Also DPI a little lower than previous unit. But the motion quality and colors are the best I have seen for gaming. Extreme curve makes it less than ideal for productivity. Unit was not cheap. Requires included remote to access all features.

Love the size and brightness, however using for normal PC use it only keeps the main page bright, the other tabs has a lower brightness. I am having difficult time keeping the speaker working, it may be due to extra speakers which I am going to have it checked by a professional. A little pricey!

These screens are absolutely gorgeous. Coming from a 34 ultra wide this screen is gigantic and the curve is much more noticeable. My only concern is having to be directly in front of the screens to see everything and when you have two or more curve is even more extreme. I’m considering getting a 3rd eventually to complete my sim rig. Also keep in mind refresh rate limitations if you go down the same road as me with two or more of these connected to a computer. 2 screens at 240hz is doable on a 40 series but when I introduce a 4k 55” 120hz oled tv into the mix the gpu only wants to fires up two screens at a time.

I bought this screen for my work (programming) because of the great refresh rate and overall quality and my eyes thank me every single day.

I can't say enough good things about this monitor. It's darned expensive - but if you can realistically afford this thing with your budget, you could definitely do a LOT worse. I've seen a couple 2K based monitors that have better image quality, but they were both much smaller, which gives them a density advantage. But, even with the large size and 1440 vertical resolution, text is very sharp. The true black and nearly infinite contrast help this monitor deliver a very decent HDR experience, despite only being rated around HDR400. The 240Hz refresh is real, and image quality in games does not suffer even at full tilt - I've noticed no artifacts, ghosting, or other issues often seen in other high refresh monitors that rely on "overdrive" settings to deliver their full performance. The only downside is that you'll need a decently powerful video card to take full advantage of this thing. My 4090 produced higher frame rates on a 16:9 4K monitor than it does on this monitor, leading me to wonder if current video cards are, in some way, optimized for processing 16:9 output (16:9 4K is more pixels than 21:9 2K, so the only other big difference is the screen ratio). Beyond that, though, this thing is a beast - if you can afford it, I seriously doubt you'll be unhappy with the purchase.

This is the best monitor you can buy if you are planning to play games on it and have a capable GPU. Keep in mind that you should ideally be looking at the monitor from at least two feet to be within the 800R, otherwise you are too close. This is a monitor for a deep desk. It is 45 inches, sitting too close is the same as the kid who sits in front of the TV. Performance on this monitor is spectacular. HDR games look amazing. Even SDR looks stunning. Clean uniform colors. The matte finish is perfect for a monitor this large. If you are looking at something with an AR of 16:9, the black sides look absolutely black, no reflections at all. If it were glossy, you'd see distorted reflections. The stand is sturdy, functional, elegant and quite attractive. I have a sound bar suspended on top of the legs with blocks that I dressed to match the sound bar and it looks great.

Best monitor I have ever owned. The PPI is not an issue at all, in fact it's not even noticeable - that was my only hesitation. There is not another monitor on the market that even comes close, including the 34" Alienware OLED. I've owned both and the Alienware had severe burn in less than 1 year into owning it. I've owned 3x LG OLED TVs, and I've never had any burn in issues. LG's panels are miles ahead of Samsung's when it comes to their OLED tech. Highly recommend purchasing this monitor through Best Buy with their total tech membership for an incredible warranty and peace of mind.

For me this monitor is amazing I like to have a oled monitor with all this new specs like 0.003 respond time 240hz and amazing colors and contrast. Has hdmi 2.1 so if I want I can connect my ps5/SX and at 999$ Black Friday deals I’m not going to complain.

Coming from an LG C1 48 to this monitor is such a nice change, I really love the 240 HZ refresh rate and the size is perfect! LG really hit a home run with this monitor! The resolution is crisp and in a perfect spot for performance/quality.

Huge OLED monitor at 240hz. It’s as good as you think it is. Maybe even better. There’s no cross shopping, this is the one to get. Double check your white balance and lower the brightness for best experience.

I love the size of this monitor. Games are very immersive. Movies/shows are very nice as well. Colors look good after some display calibration. I am aware of the technology limitations which is brightness weakness; causing white colors to look yellow. Thats pretty much my only gripe with these OLED screens. Daytime scenes on my mini LED display look phenomenal in comparison.

Hands down, best monitor on the market today. Even if you're not a gamer, the screen is amazing, and totally immersive. Would reccomend for everyone, including non-gamers. Shes a beauty.
