I purchased the LG XBOOM after doing a lot of online research (Youtube). I have to give it up, this speaker really sounds good. The music is crisp, clear and when you hit the bass button get ready because those low notes will have you rockin!!! One of the reasons I gave this a 4 out of 5 is because I wished it had an internal battery. The second reason is because I wanted to keep turning it up but couldn't...maybe that's a personal issue though. Regardless

Have it connected to my LG projector, connected and paired with great ease as soon you turn them on. Good sound and bass, could be a bit louder in my opinion. Kareoke features i have yet to explore fully, but have plugged in a mic and it works well, clean vocals. Very compact and can move around, would recommend as an alternative option for home theater with added kareoke functions.

After a lot of careful research, I settled on the LG XBOOM for an outside bluetooth party speaker. I have to say, the results were not disappointing. Being outside I can't have something small, I needed something big and powerful. This guy fills about 1,000 sqft patio with quality sound, and I can't believe how much bottom end this thing has. The remote is handy, don't use it too much. A huge plus is the App you can use and have your guests connect to the speaker and they can all add something to the playlist. It's like a virtual juke box on your phone, playing songs from your phone's internal storage, really cool!

The sound quality is amazing and the lights and mic functions are fun, kids and adults enjoyed. The only shortcomings are no rechargeable battery for system and only on mic jack. But can pair with other speakers so definitely thinking of 2nd purchase. 1100w summer for the neighbors.

I decided to try something different after using mostly sony! I got to say this LG speaker blow my expectations. Good speaker, easy to carry, easy to use. The only con is that i cant download the app on my iphone for extra features so i have to use someone elses that has an android to use those cool features other than im already saving to get me another one

Great for Karaoke! I use it to play YouTube karaoke videos on my tv and have the sound come out to this speaker paired with a microphone I bought separately. The lights make it feel like I’m on stage having a concert!

if you love music like i do u need this, I use this all over my house, from bathroom, to the kitchen to my man cave, plus u can use it as a soundbar for your TV, I gave it 4 stars because its not as loud as the bigger units but it do the job. plus the app don't work:(

Great speaker that delivers crisp sound that resignates, even at high volume. I use this primarily at work, and for a warehouse that has loud machines constantly running it still delivers great sound.

Great quality, good sound. Awesome for karaoke. Make sure to grab a pair. Works seamlessly with my LG tv. I thought it was battery, but it is not. Doesn't bother me as i was not planning on moving it around.

I got this speaker for my husband for New Years and he loves it. He did a lot of research before landing on this one. It is a plug in not portable which is probably the only downside of it other than that the bass is good and can get pretty loud.

My second one! I’ve had one now for several years and loved it. Decided to get a second one and it’s so nice to be able to pair them together. Loud and crisp sound. By far the best speakers I’ve ever gotten. Mine stay outside in heavy humidity but under an awning also and have had no problems.

Needless to say the neighbors are well aware when I’m relaxing in the garage listening to some music…karaoke mode is a great party starter

I bought two of these speakers(luckily on sale). I bought two because of the features the box describes and because of YouTube videos I watched about the ability to link them together. I am disappointed with the lack of ability of these speakers in several ways. So many features only work in certain conditions. If you use optical audio, you won’t get stereo sound because the speakers done recognize right and left in optical audio mode. You also can’t use a mic in optical audio mode. There’s also no app for IPhones which again limits your ability to utilize many of the features. The sound quality is good. I’m just disappointed with the features.

I love it. Wish it could be louder. But overall one of my best purchases this year. Always getting compliments too

I was looking for a good size speaker that sounded well to bring to small event for church. This speaker has really impressed me with the sound quality, features and light effects. Plus it is light enough to carry between rooms without hurting your back. Pros - Great Sound Equalizer Lights Quality Features / Inputs Application Functionality Cons - Power Cord Length Remote Control Distance Lights Only On Speaker Side :: Setup :: The setup was very easy, pretty much plug in play using bluetooth. Installing / Launching the app it quickly detected the speaker connection and able to modify settings. I would recommend going through the Application for custom settings versus trying to use the pad on the top of the speaker :: Speaker :: The speaker itself has deep bass and high treble , no distortion at high level output however I have not tried maxing out to lvl 100 yet. The lights are a nice addition however wish they were on all sides of the speaker tower not just where the speaker is facing. The rubber touch pad at top of speaker is very nice as you can easily switch function input when needed to go to MIC or radio setting. You can lay the speaker on its side or have it standing up as a tower. Either position works without issues and you are still able to get to the rubber touch pad easily. The back of the speaker has Aux in / Out along with Optical in , MIC , USB and Antenna. I am very impressed with the inputs this speaker provides. :: Music Flow Application :: The application has a lot of features and functionalities that one can easily become lost when trying to navigate through all the settings. the Sound Effect option allows to go through Equalizer for custom sound setting. There is a lighting effect option as well to set how you wish the lights to flow with the music. There are a lot of different version which was fun to go through them all. The Function option allows to switch between all 5 methods easily and even allows for further customization under the settings option. There is a feature to set this speaker as a "Multi Mode" versus "Dual Mode" however I did not have additional speakers to test this. Overall I really enjoy this speaker and works great in medium size rooms. With the additional input features this allows it is a great buy for anyone looking for a good portable speaker for good size rooms.
