Pretty quickly after mine people found it very difficult to hear me. There are two small black covers down by the speakers that just sort of kind of deteriorated and washed away so now I don’t know if it’s really waterproof. I tried to contact the company and they aren’t even taking phone calls they’re just selling $120 phone cases.

I purchased this case when I got my new phone, and while I still strongly support this brand of case, this iPhone 7/8 Fre version doesn’t seem as sturdy as past Lifeproof cases. The clip for the lightning port unclips very easily. Often when I go to grab it from my pocket it unclips unintentionally. For the most part it’s not a big deal, but I don’t know how confident I would feel taking this phone into the water as I have with past Lifeproof cases.
