I did not care for the case. I feel the case interfered enough with the function of the volume, on/off and screen function that it did not warrant the supposed protection from water that I did not test. Plastic screen scratches very easily.

Wrong case for the phone that needed it. Had to return it. Didn’t have e what we need.

Not drop proof. Only had it on the phone couple days when it was dropped and new screen broke. Not covered by warranty. Only if it gets wet.

The waterproof cell iPhone cover fit great except for the camera lense. Can’t take pictures with case on. Said it fit my phone but didn’t.

I’ve been in a continuous argument with my friend about which is better. Lifeproof or otter box. Ever since I had my first iPhone 5s 3 years ago I have used lifeproof. And they really are lifeproof. With my 5s, I dropped it down stairs, dropped it off of a deck, and many other things that put it to the test. While I had 3 cases for it, they all broke because of user error. In these cases, I broke the case. None of them broke from daily use. Ever since January, I have a an iPhone 8 with the lifeproof fre case. Being in high school, i put it through its paces. I am super clumsy when it comes to my phone. My most recent drop was at the beach when we were all sitting on a second floor deck. I dropped my phone off the railing and it fell about 25 feet onto concrete. It did some cartwheels and stopped. When I went down to retrieve it, there was only a minor scuff in the plastic. This was fixable with a nail file. Yes the case popped open on the side but that was cause of the force of the impact. This case is actually insane. Everyone I know has been surprised that my phone has no damage on it. The only scratches on the screen are from when I used a different case. All in all, this case is a must have for anyone that drops their phone. While it is pricey, your paying for a case that will survive a 25 foot drop onto rock. Think about that the next time you buy a case. What is the worst thing that you could do accidentally and see if your cas will survive. LifeProof cases are the only cases I'll buy. The quality and protection justifies the pricetag tenfold. I do a lot of work outside and frequently and dropping my phone. I've never had so much as a scratch happen to my phone. I've dropped it in the water multiple times - after wiping off the case, you couldn't tell a difference. No matter what I'm doing, I can rest easy my phone is protected by LifeProof. They really do provide peace of mind. If you live an active style, there are no other cases that compare to LifeProof

So I recently bought this case because I’m going on vacation, staying on the beach. Everything was great the case is beautiful, feels great and slim, and protective. I found the fault when I make phone calls. Facetime or anything using speaker phone. The other end cannot hear me. They hear no sound from my device and frequently happens on regular phone calls WITHOUT speaker as well. My previous case I had for a year and no issues. Will be returning and not buying another life proof.

Having bought Lifeproof cases in the past, I was highly disappointed by this product Cons -Poor quality screen protector creates a grainy rainbow effect that pretty much ruins the high-quality Apple Retina display -Case is not flush with phone in multiple areas, so when I press on multiple points of the phone, the case squishes inward (making the case feel like cheap, hollow plastic toy) -Camera photo quality is significantly reduced -Sound quality of calls is horrendous unless you open the lighting port cover -Buttons are 10x harder to press than without the case (it feels like a strength test every time I attempt to press the power button) -Color of case is significantly brighter than the images on this website and the Lifeproof website, making my phone look like a child's toy

I bought a life proof case couple years ago and had no problem well I decided i wanted to upgrade and buy another lifeproof case because of my jobs environment it helps keep the dust out of my phone and when I drop it, it definitely protects it but the only issue I have is no one can’t hear me when I’m on the phone I either have to put it on speaker or partly take my phone out of the case or use my AirPods just to talk on the phone and that’s frustrating, especially when I get important calls and I have to put them on hold just to connect my AirPods so I definitely wouldn’t recommend this case anymore going to find me another case that can do the same job and able to talk on the phone with no issues.. fix the issue lifeproof co. or continue to lose customers this doesnt even deserve one star

Took us a bit to figure out that the problem was the case and not the phone. When you talk on the phone with the case on, the person on the other end cannot understand anything you say - it is horribly muffled. Take the case off and they can understand you fine. Very disappointed and reading others are having the same problem. Best Buy said I have to contact LifeProof directly despite only recently having bought this from Best Buy. Hoping LifeProof will make this right.

I followed directions, ran waterproof test and it passed, but when I really needed (submerged in swimming pool by accident), the case failed and phone died. I had to get a new screen and mic and speakers still not working. I thought Lifeproof guaranteed their product, but it turns out that I had to register the product with them. The problem is the product guarantee instruction, including product registration number was not included in the box when I bought it from Best Buy, hence I had no idea how I can be protected when things like this happened.

I’m so disappointed. I finally went to put the case on my phone, and it just doesn’t fit. It says for iPhone 7 and 8, but it just doesn’t fit my iPhone 8. I can get it to snap on mine side, but the other side is impossible. I don’t want to damage my phone by continuing to force it. I also just read Best Buy only honors returns within 15 days, so I’m stuck with a pretty expensive, non-usable iPhone case. What a lousy return policy. I now know next time.

This case kills the quality of every picture. I have to take the case off every time I want to take a picture.
