Replaced a previous older Linksys

This newer unit required about an hour to reset up all computers, phones, IPads, Wii, and Blue Ray players. I even used the same codes and passwords as the older unit but the devices would not connected with out reinstalling. I wish it also had a little more range.

I had the assistance of a store personnel because this is not something I know a lot about. We found a better model, more features, better price on the shelf and I took it home. Installation was a breeze and the router is perfect for my use. Home office, personal laptop, kids PC and wifes Apple Ipod. Thanks Best Buy !

I have a three story townhome. Unfortunately, the cable guy hooked everything up on the top floor. Sometimes the signal drops while on the second floor. I am not sure if it is because of the internet service provided versus the router.

Its identical to an e2700 I have without the gigabit Ethernet so its great for locations where you only need 'N' wireless for your mobile users and nothing wired. Love the wireless setup to limit access using MAC addresses -- keeps unwanted users where you want them.
